What animal would you be? Any type of bird that has the ability to fly of course. I mean, who doesn’t want to fly or simply fly away from their problems?
Little Girl sat through hair, make-up and costuming to help bring you today's image. My original plan was to try to do something with cloning, but she didn't have the patience to listen to that many instructions after all the prep work. She decided instead to just go play on the swings. I followed her lead, and here it is. We would have taken more shots and played longer, but a bumblebee got in the way and Little Girl got her first sting. She's a touch sore, but otherwise okay.
As for the music, the Cirque du Soleil soundtracks are always on my travel list and quite often on my housework list too. The lyrics are almost entirely in French, and I have absolutely no idea what they mean, but the imagery that comes to mind is always spectacularly beautiful and otherworldly. For a specific soundtrack, the music from Quidam is still one of my favorites. The title track itself is hopeful and whimsical.

Rather than weigh in and see if the glass is half-empty or half-full I dare my self to aspire and achieve instead.
(A fuller view version of this capture. But in monochrome, in pure black and white, just the same. Shot way back in April. Freeing up some of my memory cards for our Los Angeles trip. Here's my Monochrome: Black & White set ~ Please, feel free to browse it.)

About:
During the climb of Roys Peak, I've got wonderful views on Mt Aspiring National park, this picture was not a planned upload, I took a 3 bracketed shot for HDR processing in Photomatix, but I couldn't get the results I wanted out of it, so the plan was to process the 0 EV shot later on, not for upload but just for my archives. Than came a email from oloneo and there new beta of photoengine, and I thought lets try this set of picture in it, and I was happily surprised by the result.
Location:
Roys Peak, Wanaka, New Zealand
This image is also geotagged
Technical stuff:
HDR processed with Oloneo photoengine (Important note: the first processing was straight from the DNG files, but Oloneo didn't align them very good, so I first used Photomatix to align and deghost and put the HDR file through Oloneo photoengine, the same settings I used on the DNG files didn't gave the same results so I had to tweak them again, the straight from DNG files was better)
High pass sharpening in PS5
Some small changes in LR3
