Using Gimp I took the previous image and created layers of color above it. Then changed the mode to color. This is the result. Click "All Sizes" to see better detail and color.
I used conditional formatting rules to format the cells in an Excel spreadsheet to create this 2-D bar code effect that was generated from slicing up the ASCII character code of each letter (after it has been converted to binary) in the title of the Terminator 3 film "Rise of the Machines".
been playing around producing ascii art from my photos using home-made software.
Photo was resized to 64 pixels wide and pixels are converted to one of 7 tonal levels - each tonal level (except the brightest) has one or more ascii characters which are chosen from at random.
No es el wii mando. Es la prueba de que wii no es "la revolución" que nos han intentado vender constantemente. Este periférico de los noventa salió para la magnífica supernintendo (superfamicom, en japón). Allí nos hemos ido para conseguir esta pieza de historia.

A photo of me after being filtered with a bitmaps as ASCII program that I wrote back in 2003. Color scheme is sort of like Duke Nukem 1 and 2.

Responsive ASCII will display a website through ASCII art. The pointsize of the monospaced font won’t change while resizing the window. This makes the resolution depending on the size of the window, not on the size of the monospaced font. This website, made for the introduction of the monospaced font Zeitung Mono, has a button to switch from normal view to ASCII view.

The last part of our world trip is a two-week tour of the British Isles.
We make stops in London, Edinburgh, Stoke-On-Trent, and Cambridge. Friends, family, ancient castles, hiking, picnics, museums, travel by Tube, and a lot of tea. Thanks to the world for a great year!
