Artificial Intelligence or AI is a new horizon in the digital sector. It gives a unique frontier to humans to interact with technologies.
Artificial intelligence is an amazing tool for visualizing the future. Here are some cool scenes I just created for our Pataphysical Time Machine, using ChatGPT to write the scenarios and Midjourney to make the images. I asked the AI for a "science fiction poster of a rogue band of diverse time travelers exploring ancient and future eras in search of true love.” My goal is to create an animated firmament of future worlds against the top back wall of the new roof we’re building for our interactive art exhibit.
As a proof of concept, I projected this first set of images on a makeshift screen, to show what our “AI Sistine Chapel” might look like above the Time Machine. My esteemed partners in crime loved it! Our fearless leader, Dr. Rindbrain, pronounced it “fantastic,” suggesting we integrate it right away into our exhibit. And our youngest pataphysician, Dr. Little Johnny (a.k.a. Kas) liked it most of all, dragging his mom into the greenhouse to meet our new friends from the future.
I too was happy with this first experiment. I loved collaborating with my AI co-creators for this rapid prototype. It was a lot easier and faster for me to bring my vision to life with AI, rather than toiling with conventional art tools. And I made the final creative calls by selecting the variations that inspired me the most.
Artificial intelligence is growing at an incredible pace, and we have a unique opportunity to use it for creative purposes, while defining the boundaries of our relationship with these wild machines. I had to keep my AI bots on a tight leash to get what I wanted — which is exactly what they need, so we can train them to become dependable partners over time.
Next, I hope to use another AI to create videos from those images, and develop some of our new characters to interact in short stories illustrating those alternative futures. Vive la collaboration entre l'homme et la machine!

The stomach planet Inspired by 80's Cuban Sci-Fi stories. I remember a book where astronauts land in a planet that has some sort of root or primitive plant all over its entire surface. There were some lakes around, all with bright different water color. While exploring the surface the astronauts realize everything human that comes in contact with the surface of the planets erodes rapidly. The ship, the trucks, the boots, and soon after the ship starts to been suck into the colorful lakes. They discover after the entire planet is alive and all shaped to eat, digest everything that lands on it.
