My mom's sister, Melba, and her husband, John Moore were circus performers during the late 1940's and early 1950's. They were acrobats and aerialist.
This is an article that appeared in the Wichita Falls, Texas, newspaper in 1948.
Aunt Melba is the acrobat in the upper right photo and in the balancing act in the lower right. She was billed as "the sweetheart of the circus".
Uncle John is sitting in the chair on the high wire in the upper left photo and is a clown in the upper middle photo.
