Excerpt from the article:

"For any theorist, such total assimilation would be a triumph, complete vindication; fruits of one's ideas sprouting continuously in print and on the ground—a rare achievement. Yet, Jacobs saw the tangible outcomes of her vision as a betrayal: "They [New Urbanists] only create what they say they hate" she is quoted to have said. Such stern, unqualified rebuke of dedicated followers gives us pause for introspection. Was the rebuke justified? Do they?"

This article ran in a 2007 issue of First City Magazine in [New] Delhi, India. The "10 Most Beautiful Women" Issue to be specific.

From the very first email I was dead certain this article would never run. In spite of Swaati's perfect English I had to assume she didn't understand I'm just a book designer... but it happened, complete with the artwork I made just for the magazine. (Based on the Yakku, an Indian beast, the incarnate of germs-- and inspired by my contribution to "Sugar Booger #5", the Kevin Scalzo mini-comic.)

The periods and commas in this "comic" typeface are horribly confusing. I had to re-read that second quote three times before I finally realized what I was saying.
