This solar array near OSU's Trysting Tree golf course is part of the Oregon University System's "Solar by Degrees" program. OSU will be the first university to complete the solar array.
Starting at the bottom left going clockwise: 325 mg aspirin (white), nighttime excedrin (blue), a mixture of fiber tablets and daytime excedrin, a bowl of red, white and blue mood stablizers, a li'l cup o money, some lidocain pads in the middle, a li'l cup of methadone, and a bowl of welfare tylenol.

…just finished my last DIY-Project – a new version OSS-Array, for Hi-Res-Audio based on a Jecklin-Disk-Concept.
A Jecklin Disk is a sound-absorbing disk placed between two microphones to create an acoustic "shadow" from one microphone to the other. The resulting two signals can possibly produce a pleasing stereo effect. A matching pair of small-diaphragm omnidirectional microphones is always used with a Jecklin disk.

Pipevine Swallowtail Butterfly
I love the array of the beautiful creations the Lord made for us to see and photograph. This stunning creature is the pipevine swallowtail butterfly. I photographed it in September and think this may have been a first for me. They are beautiful!
Winter is a quieter time with my photography, as I do not shoot as often. These warm temperatures make me look forward to spring!

Seguin Storage owner Timothy Oglesby utilized a U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) Rural Development (RD) Rural Utilities Service (RUS) Rural Energy for America Program (REAP) to help with the photovoltaic array (solar panels) to reduce the cost of operating his storage facility in Seguin, Texas, on March 24, 2020. This is the first phase of the complex that will have additional storage buildings with plans to install arrays on each.
Rural Energy for America Program (REAP) was used FY 2017 for a grant amount of $18,729.75 toward the
30.7 kW Solar Photovoltaic system placed on the roof of a new climate-controlled storage facility. The solar array produces an average of 44,193 kWh annually. Based on an average price of $0.089 per kWh the small business grantee should save $3,933.17 per year. The grant was 25% of the total eligible project costs ($74,919) for a total of $18,729.75. The return on investment for this project is 19 years.

The lost city of Petra now in Jordan, was established around 312 BC, as the capital city of the Nabataeans and then it became a lost city around 363 AD, when it was destroyed by an earthquake and already was in decline because the trade routes had changed. The buildings here are carved into existing stone in the mountains of what is now Jordan. There also was an elaborate aqueduct system to bring water to the city and control flooding. The aqueduct system is what was destroyed in the earthquake. Most of the buildings remain. It was a lost city to the Western world until a Swiss explorer, Johann Burckhardt found it in 1812. You can download his book for free from Kindle where he describes coming upon the city on page 328 in Travels in Syria and the Holy Land
