Early Summer hike last year while camping, excited to go back when it is safe and pleasant to be out there again!
A great state park or even just local area to visit if the opportunity presents. Several historic sites, a state forest, the Sheyenne River, and a very charming small town.

This young hairy woodpecker is still trying to get the hang of walking on a tree branch. At least he's got a good grip! I suppose he could just be playing around and pretending to be a sloth too.

We saw several horses along the way of our cross-country drive last fall. By the far, the most exciting view was this herd of horses galloping through the grass. I spotted them just as we came round a sharp bend in the road. No time to grab my camera, so focus is so-so. But what a great memory. Hope you have a fine weekend.
This little boy was the son of one of the Gnaoua musicians in Khamlia, a village in eastern Morocco on the edge of the Sahara desert. He was trying to hide from the other children.
