The Sports Cafe, which won in the Large Garrison Award Category, stood out because of their continuance to improve the professionalism of food service personnel which in turn gives the best quality food service to suppoirted Soldier diners, one of the many objectives the Sports Cafe met governed by Army Regulation 30-22. "It is great to be reconized amongst the other great DFACS on the peninsula because this really shows all the hard work that we put into everyday," said Pfc. Joseph Kennedy, a food and healtcare specialist at the Sports Cafe. "We really try to create an atmosphere at the Sports Cafe where Soldiers can get away from their busy day, relax and enjoy what we have to offer."

SJ19 is an exercise involving nearly 5,400 participants from 16 ally and partner nations at the U.S. Army’s Grafenwoehr and Hohenfels Training Areas, Sept. 3 to Sept. 30, 2019. SJ19 is designed to assess the readiness of the U.S. Army’s 173rd Airborne Brigade to execute land operations in a joint, combined environment and to promote interoperability with participating allies and partner nations.

Soldiers joined student athletes and musicians, and their families for a Texas-style barbecue dinner at the Alamodome in San Antonio Jan. 3, 2013. The dinner was just one of many activities throughout the city to commemorate the U.S. Army All-American Bowl, scheduled to be held Jan. 5. The ‘not again for 300 years’ total solar eclipse as seen Wednesday from USAG Humphreys. While we were not in position to see the “totality” here, Asia did have the best vantage points. The eclipse was frst visible in India and moved east through Nepal, Burma, Bangladesh, Bhutan, China, Japan and the Pacifc. Where the total eclipse could be seen darkness lasted for up to 6 minutes and 39 seconds.

Conolly directed a series of public announcement shoots featuring more than eight Yongsan youths associated with the USAG-Yongsan Adolescent Substance Abuse Counseling Service. The public announcements will be shown at the Yongsan Movie Theater before each matinee beginning in August to address issues like shoplifting, smoking, and alcohol consumption.
