"Anti-Japanese War" is the title of the plaque that accompanies this mural at Revolution Square in Nanchang. Revolution Square is more commonly known as "8-1 Square" because it comemorates a battle on August 1, 1927 that gave birth to the Red Army. August 1st is a national holiday in China and is known as "Army Day"
