The Terracotta Army or the "Terra Cotta Warriors and Horses", is a collection of terracotta sculptures depicting the armies of Qin Shi Huang, the first Emperor of China.
The figures, dating from 3rd century BC, were discovered in 1974 by some local farmers in Lintong District, Xi'an, Shaanxi province, near the Mausoleum of the First Qin Emperor.
The figures vary in height, according to their roles, with the tallest being the generals. The figures include warriors, chariots, horses, officials, acrobats, strongmen and musicians. Current estimates are that in the three pits containing the Terracotta Army there were over 8,000 soldiers, 130 chariots with 520 horses and 150 cavalry horses, the majority of which are still buried in the pits.

Fijian Army sergeant with the Fiji Infantry Regiment, plants dilo trees with U.S. Army Soldiers from the 25th Infantry Division, during a coastal and reef revitalization project during Exercise Cartwheel 2019, near Nadi, Fiji, Aug. 13, 2019. Part of both the Republic of Fiji Military Forces and the U.S. Indo-Pacific Command's defense strategy is to addresses climate change. The planting of palms, dilo trees, and mangroves was an effort to strengthen the coastline with root systems that prevent local silt from pummeling the nearby barrier reef. Opportunities, such as Exercise Cartwheel, provide a platform to deepen understanding and preparedness, which strengthens and enhances key relationships with partner nations for a free and open Indo-Pacific.

The Lancastrian Army of the Medieval Siege Society on the battlefield at the Bedfordshire Medieval Fayre.
This is from an art project of someone who calls themselves Pink Army I read from the article that it's a group of young artists who's agenda is to question how power is distributed in our society. They spent a week building it, and also let the bystanders participate in building this wooden house, or as the article says - the head quarters of the Pinky Army. Nothing was planned - it created it self as they went along. The day after, they tore the whole thing down, but gave the fragments from it to everyone to put around town and thereby let the piece live on. Why pink? It's the opposite and the biggest contrast to army green! I guess the location was no coincidence because many of the Norwegian political parties have their head quarters around this square.
There were some cool details here - like the pink satin covered steps.
