First test run of my Arduino-based flash trigger. It seems to work fine, and now that I have substituted the photoresistor for a photodiode, it is very sensitive. There are still improvements to make, both hardware and software related, but it works OK for a first prototype.
Just received an ITeaduino from ITead Studios in China. It's a clone of the Arduino, with a few enhancements like a simple selector to run on 3.3V and three pin connectors with power for inputs and outputs.
Comes in a pretty nice box too.
Arduino borads has Firmata library loaded on it.
