The Yasuyo Building is definitely a hidden gem in Shinjuku. During daytime, it is hard to notice the uniqueness of this building. But once the night comes, it draws so much attention with its glowing lights.
This building reminds me stacks of Lego blocks in irregular patterns. It is because of its irregular patterns which makes it more interesting. If you are into architecture, this building in Tokyo shouldn't be missed :)

After hiking up at the Fushimi Inari Taisha, I decided not to go back to hotel first. I decided to explore more by heading to Yasaka Shrine. This shrine was just 15 minutes walk from my hotel.
Ysaka Shrine is one of the most famous shrines in Kyoto. It is near the Gion and Higashiyama District. In the summer, there will be many festivals hosting in here. Unfortunately, I didn't get to see one when I came here twice.
You can access to this shrine days and nights. I came here late at night and I found both times have amazing views. Due to its popularity, it is not hard to spot many people doing selfies here :)

As I was about to leave Umeda Sky Building and go back to my hotel, I noticed that the view under Umeda Sky Building is equally amazing. Many people actually missed that; they left the building without looking up.
The ring in the center really reminds me of the One Ring from The Lord of the Rings. This place is so awesome that I can't wait to bring my girlfriend here again. This time I will remember to bring my tripod :)
