A local office building that I think just has the most wonderful lines and design elements. This is another shot I took from the end side elevation. It is clad in wood on the side and enclosed by metal all over. There are so many linear elements on this buildings design.

I've been waiting to snap this for a long time. Waiting to see when the light was best etc. Still not sure that this does it justice..
It was a complete delight to watch the architecture with such fine level of carvings. For those who want to travel for architecture, Ranakpur is a must visit location.
The weather changed so quickly and by the time I had driven down the hill, there was bright sunshine and the sky had cleared. You wouldn't think this shot was taken on the same day as the previous one (but it was)!

Yes! This originally moated castle was built on grounds
owned by the Tegernsee Benedictine monestary (foun-
ded around 750 AC) in appr. 920 AC against roaming
Hunns.
In appr. 1570 a rich noble man enlarged it in Renaissance
style and around 1700 it was re-decorated in Baroque
style by the then owners.
Since 1829 it belongs to the same family and was turned
in the 1930's into a boarding school / Gymnasium for in-
terns and externs.
