The Sa’ar (סְעָרָה/ Tempest) class patrol boats were a Samarian conversion of the ever-reliable PT boat. Suited for patrolling the coastal waters and performing fast attacks, they were ideal for the Samarians. The conversion consisted of removing the four torpedo tubes and the 20 mm autocannon on the front. The latter was replaced with a more powerful dual-purpose 40 mm autocannon with a modern computer system to assist in aiming. The two 12.7 mm machine guns were retained, and a rack with three depth charges was added for limited anti-submarine capabilities (although they were more often than not used for stowing barrels of gasoline). The most significant change was the addition of two launchers for the Ramiel (רעמיאל‎‎) missiles. These give the Sa'ar the capability of taking out vessels that are many times her size. All electric systems were also upgraded to suit the new radars and other equipment. Power comes from three aircraft piston engines, driving three shafts, capable of getting the Sa'ar up to her top speed of 35 knots. Crew consists of fifteen, of which three are officers.

I found this online, because I had no idea on how to start this build. I changed almost everything, but there is still a bit of the original left. So I have to give the guy a little credit.

This render took ages, but at least you can zoom in properly, so it was definitely worth it.

SET 3 – Walmart, Morrilton, AR

(cont.) …whereas in this pic, “Lifestyle & Pharmacy” is very distinctly right-aligned, butting right up against that pylon. I never noticed that before writing these descriptions – and now I wish I could unsee it, lol XD

I brought up the West Memphis store, which l_dawg2000 toured in 2021, a few descriptions back (in the last upload session), and now that this is the very last pic of this album, it seems like a good time to reference that store again, particularly given how its version of Airport is already a bit less deluxe than Morrilton’s. Of particular note is the fact that all the department signs are just one thickness, not with the hollow section in the middle, as can be seen here (the same is true for the aisle markers as well). Then again, West Memphis also got this cool “Cart Park” feature which Morrilton did not :P It will be interesting to see what the future holds for this package and its various décor treatments; I certainly hope Walmart treats it well and continues to uphold the premium construction which makes it so cool-looking. But I guess only time will tell.

I hope y’all enjoyed this tour and getting to see Airport décor for the first time (at least, in my photostream, anyway)! Please feel free to let me know what you thought of the décor package in general, or the Morrilton store specifically, in the comments below. In the meantime, next up we’ll be heading back to the Goodman/Getwell Kroger to continue our ongoing Urban Mix stour there, followed by a very special, long overdue return to a store I love… stick around!

Happy Easter, everyone! Apologies for this upload being a little bit late -- same goes for several other uploads over the past few months during busy season. Busy season is just about over now, but uploads will continue to be a bit off schedule from time to time, as I'm working around some issues my home laptop is having.

These places are public so these photos are too, but just as I tell where they came from, I'd appreciate if you'd say who :)

This photo it's not included because of its quality, it is included because of its content. Fair station is located in a closed line. It was enabled only to run two trains carrying track materials. This one was one of them and the only photo I could make was this with terrible backlight conditions. Ilumination was achieved with a Godox TT680C over cam speedlight.

Sha'ar HaGai in Hebrew, Bab al-Wad in Arabic, (lit. Gate of the Valley), is a point on the Tel Aviv-Jerusalem highway, 23 km from Jerusalem, where the road begins to ascend through a deep valley flanked by steep rocky slopes.

The Jaffa–Jerusalem road was initially made accessible for wheeled vehicles by the Ottomans in 1867 and since then served as the main highway to Jerusalem. The journey from Jaffa to Jerusalem was reduced, thanks to this upgrade, from three to two days and Bab al-Wad became the one place where travellers had to stop for the night. For this purpose, the Ottomans built there an inn or caravansary.

During the 1947–48 Civil War in Mandatory Palestine and into the 1948 Arab-Israeli War, this area and the nearby police fort at Latrun saw fierce fighting between Arab forces and Jewish convoys on the way to blockaded Jerusalem. Bab al-Wad changed hands between the Arab Liberation Army supported by Arab irregulars, and Jewish Palmach and Haganah units, until April 20 1948, when the Arabs recaptured the heights around Bab al-Wad closing off the Tel Aviv-Jerusalem road.

After the 1967 Arab-Israeli War, when the Latrun area was captured by Israel, the main Tel Aviv–Jerusalem highway was once again constructed on the shortest route past Latrun and Sha'ar HaGai.

The AR-31 Swordfish was one of the last planes designed by legendary aircraft engineer Gianco Aribetti. It was initially designed as a passenger plane, but when the Periphery Wars broke out it was very quickly adapted into two military variants: an armed scout plane (the AR-31S) and a torpedo bomber (the AR-31B) As the main theatre of the war was the Aenian archipelago, seaplanes were ideally suited to this environment. Of a planned production run of 500 warplanes only 177 were produced before the main factory was destroyed. Striking from hidden bases dotted throughout the archipelago, planes such as these formed an effective part of the Allied battle against Hanji occupation and eventually helped to liberate the periphery countries from their oppressors.

Tusen takk for 2016!

I år har vi lagt ned 600.000 timer med trening og vi har deltatt på nesten 500 redningsaksjoner.

Det er 270 godkjente redningshunder fordelt rundt i landet vårt – som til en hver tid er klare til aksjon.

In 1979 the United Kingdom of Great Britain & Northern Ireland along with her Commonwealth was in shock after the IRA assassination of Admiral Of The Fleet Lord Louis Mountbatten, 1st Earl Of Burma.

Margaret Thatcher, the then PM stated "Our country has suffered a great loss." These words meant the end for those responsible. Thatcher, a friend of Mountbatten knew who exactly to call. As soon as British Intelligence Services got any information it was given to 22 SAS and the Military Reaction Force. A unit that had earned the reputation of "Legalised Death Squad"

Once the information had been passed to the two units plans were put in place, there was to be no trial, no hearings.

These men were to die, and that's what exactly happened

The Regiment and the MRF both opted to use the AR-18 because of its prominent use by the IRA. The idea was that if they were spotted the IRA would assume they were friendly due to the rifle and civilian clothing.

This particular variant of the AR-18 is the K model, designed to be as compact as possible. Due to the fact this was essentially government backed revenge killings there was an unlimited budget, both units used this to outfit the rifles as seen on this variant. Most opted for magnified optics however this rifle is seen with an Aimpoint Electronic, retractable stocks and sound suppressors were also opted for due to the covert nature of these operations.

This actually ended up being quite a fun build.
