I applied Nel's suggestions, and fixed some things that became obvious to me once I'd uploaded this yesterday.
Nathalie dressed up as Winnie the Pooh on New Year's Eve. It is a tradition in my hometown to dress up in a costume and visit friends and family's houses to get candy on New Year's Eve (similar to Halloween in the U.S., sans the trick-or-treat and scary stuff).

About Jack Sanders & Butch Anthony
Sanders is founder of Design Build Adventure, a full-service design, build, and adventure company, His work explores the intersection of design and place, drawing from the interrelationships between people, material, climate, music, food, and art specific to each project’s region. Sanders has been involved in several large scale art installations, and has been a visiting lecturer and studio instructor at Auburn University’s Rural Studio, Mississippi State University, and the University of Texas at Austin.
Anthony is a multimedia artist living and working in Seale, Alabama who collects societal cast-offs and trash and uses them as materials for his art. He uses the term “intertwangled” for his type of art as he mixes so many objects, drawn forms, and subject matter together. Anthony’s work defies categorization and creates a humorous commentary on modern life. Themes of death, work and relationships form the core of his approach to crafting his bizarre creations.

First-gen undergraduate Marcos Tapia dove into research at UNCG. Now, as only a sophomore, he's already co-authored a scientific article and mastered an in-demand electrochemistry technique. The experience, he says, has opened his eyes to new career possibilities. researchmagazine.uncg.edu/spring-2023/applied-potential

We finally got a copy of the latest Applied Arts Illustration and Photography annual along with our certificates (which we’ll be sending out to our clients at Deloitte Canada, Kabam Games Inc. and Perkins + Will next week – one of many perks you get working with us!). We are so happy and grateful for being recognized among our peers and for all the hard work we put into the work we do for our clients. Congrats to all the winners and especially to our studio mate, Hubert Kang for also winning multiple awards for his photography work! Shout out to our Studio Manager, Aiken Lao for not only her amazing hand modelling role in the photo above but also for her amazing project management skills for the Kabam mural job.
