Building an application in Facebook is a really different experience from normal interaction design as you are constrained by the Facebook developer toolkit. Not that it is a bad thing, just a different way of designing a solution. This concept is now launched as an application for the Danish charity Folkekirkens Nødhjælp (Danish Church Aid) apps.facebook.com/bliv_indsamler/
The Brighton Wheel twirled for the last time last night, lit up in the blue and white colours of the Brighton Seagulls.
6 years ago Brighton residents fought long and hard to stop it being erected on the beach by Brighton Pier. This year the owners applied to the council for an extension on its licence for another 5 years and the public supported their application and set up a petition to keep it!
But Brighton and Hove Council has signed a legal agreement, attached to bringing the British Airways £46 million i360 to the city. The council didn't have much choice but reject the extension application as they have acted as middle man to secure a £36 million loan for the i360 project. So it has to be successful and the Brighton Eye is a threat to that success. The founders of the i360 are putting up £6 million of their own money.

Juanita Vyatri, 29, works as a mobile application developer in Jakarta, Indonesia. She dropped out of college during the third semester to start a business in web and mobile application development with her husband. Now she works at home while her five children are in daycare and school. Juanita Vyatri is a practicing sunna Muslim. She started to wear a niqab, the cloth that covers everything but the eyes, at the age of 19, after meeting her husband.

We had tracked the Jedi from the downed Venator to the planets tropical sector, we sent out 3 squads to search the area, we were the only ones who came back. The Jedi put up a good fight but in the end was no match for the numbers of our republic ground forces. Cowards will always be caught, he tried to flee from the inevitable but no one can escape their fate. The Jedi master was a strong warrior but he was a traitor so we destroyed him, the Jedi are all traitors and we are the ones who have to deal with the mess all of them have made.

Hi! In the spirit of concentrating the public's attention in our stores and keeping the fees low and affordable to everyone, Mainstore Releases is ready propose to you a brand new store-related initiave: the Mainstore Madness! As for the Annoying Hunt, this a project that I have been doing for a while now and I think could be a great project that we can all share together!
What is Mainstore Madness?
Once a month we ask you to make a new mainstore release, no dates, no deadlines, just when you feel you can do it. The new release will stay up at your store for 48 hours with a 40% discount. We encourage you to have a countdown timer in order to show customers the remaining time they have. After that you can put the full price and keep it at your store. The responsability of your product/timing/discount etc is up to you cause I don't have a team of people that can check, so please follow the rules or the customers will skip your store and it's a pity!
Why to join?
This project is made for designers that cannot afford/are not invited to events, but also for designers that join events but want to focus the attention in their mainstores too.
The initiative will start in March.
Info and rules
- You must have an inworld store.
- You must join once a month, any day it's more comfortable to you.
- The fee is 1000L per month.
- You can share your discounted new mainstore release anytime in our Discord server (in the proper channel) and, of course, in your social media in order to promote them.
- You must rez at your store the Mainstore Madness poster that will show the discounted product(s) of the day of all stores joining so we can promote each others I will personally change the image in the poster every time you will release a new product! This is the key to this project, the mainstore community promotion!
- You can choose if you want to set the product for your group, for Mainstore Releases group or for everybody.
- Vendor images must be sent 2 days before the release of the new product via a provided form, so I have the time to create the poster.
- Once accepted you will receive a designer kit with the poster, info and a Mainstore Madness logo to add to your mainstore release.

White Rock is named for a distinctive large white boulder on its beach near the promenade, a glacial erratic that migrated south during the last glaciation. The 486-ton granite boulder was kept white by shellfish-eating seabirds whose guano covered the rock, so much so that 19th-century sailors used it as a beacon. However, it is now kept white through monthly applications of white paint by the city parks department.

An ADL Dart SLF in First's new Urban livery. This vehicle has had West of England fleetnames removed quite badly and Bristol 2015 European Green Capital stickers placed next to them. Note unusual livery application (darker mauve line continues between headlights, pink stripe not on corner panels). New in 2006 to First Bristol Limited.
Shot with three large Neewer LED panels, nothing else, no light formers .... seems like I start to like LED light (never would have guessed that).

An experimental exercise in hexedecagonal concentric polygon pleating- so not bp or hp, or anything.
What does this look like to you? Lobster? insect? Mutant prehistoric thing?
This technique is expandable, but it is quite limited in application. But here it works well enough.
