I thought I was too late for the sunset and indeed the sun was already behind the mountains but the light was just perfect - golden. Pretty warm, just -5°C with some moderate wind made a nice evening trip.
This was taken from an easily accessible spot with wonderful view to all directions. Expect me to be there again for a sunrise, sunset, milky way shooting anytime from now :)

CS-TFM, a Boeing 777-212ER, on approach to runway 05 at Toronto Pearson International Airport in Mississauga, Ontario.
It was arriving as MMZ751 (euroAtlantic airways - Transportes Aereos S.A.) from Lisbon, Portugal and New Delhi, India. This is the carrier's sole 777.
Anytime I see these guys folks I shoot, and shoot and shoot, I just love this stage of development of which is not so easy to find.
I had a great day yesterday and even found a Red Tail Hawk for a lovely change of pace.

Anytime I see an osprey on the beach, I make a mad dash (within reason, of course) to get close. This one, having just bathed in the surf, flapped and stretched its wings before taking off in search of a tasty fish. Nice of him to face me and the camera!

A valiant volunteer sunflower in a flower bed, seed dropped from a winter feeder.
Anytime an 'exotic' flower bursts forth on it's own, with no help from human hand, I am delighted! I am amazed at the resoluteness of nature.
I like this because this could be a picture from any time period from the 1900's to now. I took this a few years ago when I was roaming around Downtown.
These guys don't waste anytime eating the leavings. I was standing on the other side of tinted glass when I shot this, so there is a little haze that I couldn't get out of the picture.

I will be on vacation for a little over a week. I'm taking my toys with me but I don't know how often I'll be able to come in here
If you choose not to find joy in the snow you will have less joy in your life but still the same amount of snow.
While this is true, tonight when checking cattle, we are thankful for no new babies. Snow is pretty from your warm home with a mug of hot chocolate but not so much when you are working in it all day and night. Bless our farmers and ranchers for the hours in the brutal cold with new calving mommas. Let's not repeat this morning's crazy temperatures anytime soon.

Another one - This one almost touched the water with its feathers! I realized that the reflection shots are only possible in the morning in this location! The opposite bank is quite muddy and impossible to step into anytime of the day!
