This lil fellah even startled the lady at the cashiers til... my pup is also a bit perturbed every she sees him; on the counter, behind a plant and when just sitting and staring at her... lol, having a little bit o' fun!
Both white-tailed kite juries failed at the first midair food transfer attempt... there is always a second chance... :-)
Always nice to capture a full front view but sometimes the side profile can say a lot about an animal... like, what is she seeing?
There is this beautiful golden yellowy orange cat with a shade of green eyes, that cannot be described, though I have tried.. she sat at this window watching me while I was shovelling the snow... I ran iniside to grab my camera in the hopes she'd stay put... and lo, and behold, she did... she was fixated enabling me to capture several really beautiful close ups.
Cooper's hawk was stalking the squirrel from the tree branch for a while and then finally decided to go for it... no animals were harmed during the making of this film :-)
After checking out the remains of the coot on the ground and figuring out there is not much left to munch on, grey ghost took off at sunset... @ San Jacinto Wilderness

Guanacos en alta montaña, en el camino caracoles de la reserva natural Villavicencio.
En la zona cordillerana de Mendoza, San Juan, La Rioja, Catamarca, Salta y Jujuy. Características: El guanaco es un mamífero que viven en grupos o tropillas donde se destacan los machos dominantes y las hembras. El guanaco adulto llega alcanzar una altura de 1.60 metros y un peso de 90 kilos.

In the mountain range of Mendoza, San Juan, La Rioja, Catamarca, Salta and Jujuy. Characteristics: The guanaco is a mammal that live in groups or tropillas where dominant males and females stand out. The adult guanaco reaches a height of 1.60 meters and weighs 90 kilos.
