Overlooking Cathedral Gardens, Manchester's first new public park in 70 years, Urbis rises like the prow of a great glass ship over the redeveloped Millennium Quarter, its role to celebrate city life in the modern world.

On my way to the library.

Inspired by Auntie P. and Sidereal's journeys to the cemeteries. This is Forest Oak Cemetery in Gaithersburg Maryland. Very inocuous, small cemetery, along side a busy road. Some of the graves go back to the 1800's. I've passed by this place everyday going to work, but always saw the newer graves toward the road. Finally decided to stop and have a look-see. This used to be a small farm town. Pretty simple people, so there's not much ornamentation, but lots of aging.
