Today Mum and headed up to Fir Tree Farm to visit Jane and Eric. Sadly their lovely English Setter, Poppy, was taken ill and died last week, so we thought it would be nice to spend a little time with them.
We had a delicious lunch in the White Bear in Masham, before heading back up to the farm to see the horses. Eric took me for a quick spin around the farm. They have a clutch of moorhen chicks living on the kota pond, and one of them is in this shot.
Nice to view the farmhouse from this angle for a change!
I believe that this is my best photo from the shoot. To edit it, I turned down the exposure, decreased the highlights, and decreased the whites because it was too bright were I was taking photos. Also, I turned up the blacks and the shadows to get the blacks in the photo to pop out more. Finally, I increased the saturation of the oranges and reds to make the background behind the subject pop out.
This high angle photo of dylan is exceptional and conveys what a true high angle picture should look like. taking this photo of Dylan may have been of convenience, but it works well.
I never really got out and about today, so I had to find some angles close to home. IN this case, inside our home.
I made these tags last year when I ran out on Christmas Eve... I felt they made lovely tags and would like to share them with my contacts and flickr friends who would like to use them. The format is 4"x6" or 100x150 mm.
