I often have a look around the outside light to see what’s about. Nearly didn’t spot this one as sideways on, they look like a dead leaf.

Angle of View
+ I like how the camera was on the ground and its an interesting view of my dog's paw.
- Something I would have one differently is show more of the dog in the background to make the picture more interesting.

These are wide angle images of the NW corner of 3rd and Wells. The "then" photo is from 1963 and shows the 1910-built Old Western Hotel building (aka Temme building). The image is actually a two shot panorama and courtesy of Renton Historical Society and colorized. 3rd Street is on the left and Wells Ave is on the right. The first floor tenants are Karl's and Garland Jewelers. The buildings on the left are occupied by Renton Clothing Company and The Owl Cafe. The building on the right has signs for Cash & Carry, Esquire, Cleaners, and a barber shop. The white building next it was Renton City Hall in 1923 and continued to have city offices in it until 1968 when all departments were moved to the 200 Mill building near the Renton Library.
In the "now" photo, the Western Hotel building is home to IG@macadons, IG@sparklerenton, IG@wyldwoodcreative, IG@apparition_books, and IG@erasmus_the_dragon. Renton Clothing is now Delancey's on Third, and The Owl Cafe is now Rubbatino's restaurant. On the right side, the cash and carry building is gone and is now a parking lot, but the Old City Hall building still stands and is home to Four Generals Brewing (IG@fourgeneralsbrewing), Diablo Guitars (IG@diabloguitarsseattle), and other tenants.
(Not my photo.) The angle is approximately 15 degrees or slightly more on the shown float assembly to the wing. This is virtually a must do modification on the Dynam PBY Catalina, as it cuts down on the drag in landing on water and if flying off the water. It limits tip over on grass or water from the tip of the float catching when landing. It does require cutting into the foam float and making the adjustments to the plastic float struts. There are different techniques in making this mod. I'll be making this mod and probably post my own pics when I do this task to my Catalina in the future. This is a mod that really needs to be done during the initial assembly of the plane.
