Another view of the assembled friction strip.

This is a high angle shot of my cat, Spike. I like the symmetry of the bed, and how the high angle allows the cat to be a focal point of the shot. I also like the color contrast of the darker couch with the white fleece and the orange of the cat's coat.

To show wing detail, looks like two eyes staring.

Good light, but the usual problem of movement in the breeze.

Angled view of Fairy Falls.

An interesting waterfall only a five minute walk up Fairy Falls Creek from the Fairy Falls Road just out of Geeveston. While the falls were nice today, the creek is extremely seasonal, and would be bone dry for a good percentage of the year.

The Angle Oak is the oldest tree east of the Mississippi. It is 1500 years old and is located on Ford Island, Charleston SC

Cafe cum antique shop... anything for a gimmick.

This hike was full of oddly-angled stone slabs.

Probleme mit einer Rute, die sich nicht mehr trennen lassen will. So ein Pech.

Rule of composition:

- This photo was taken from an angle below the horse.

Why its a good photo:

-its an interesting photo because of the angle of the horses head and the colour of the horse. he has his ears pricked forward and he is paying attention to the camera while tilting his head slightly.

How can it be improved:

- it is slightly underexposed and there are many dark spots on the photo, so maybe taking it in a brighter environment and using more natural lighting.

I believe that this is my best photo from the shoot. To edit it, I turned down the exposure, decreased the highlights, and decreased the whites because it was too bright were I was taking photos. Also, I turned up the blacks and the shadows to get the blacks in the photo to pop out more. Finally, I increased the saturation of the oranges and reds to make the background behind the subject pop out.

Wide angle shot on the coffee table at F22. Sigma 10-20, Nikon D200, 30 second exposure.

Only my second record of this "Common Species", hopefully the Mothing will pick up a bit now
