ZOPO is a famous smart cell phone brand in China which is engaged in researching, designing, producing, and selling ZOPO Mobile Phone. Its main products are ZOPO ZP990,ZOPO C7,ZOPO C3, ZOPO C2, ZOPO ZP980, ZOPO ZP950 ect.
For those of you who don't know, in grad school I focused on mobile applications and grid computing. I figured it would be a safe bet to focus on 2 area's of computing that I thought had a future.
Even though I thought both area's were interesting, I can see a future in mobile application development. I don't have a mac so I can't develop iPhone apps, so I figured I'd give this Android thing a shot.
My book arrived yesterday. I am pretty damn excited to get started on a new chapter in my career.
So, that's what my first Android app looks like.
I should tidy it up and release the sources. It's a very crappy basic Twitter client using a second thread for the HTTP stuff.
Haha I hope I don't get too much hate from Apple lovers for this picture! My boyfriend is an android lover, so I embroidered an android on a skinny necktie for him for Christmas. This isn't the finished product...but you can see how the android logo turned out :P i ended up making the android a tad smaller and sewing a border around it to create a "badge" to sew onto the tie. Wee :) By the way, thank you to all who contributed to some helpful comments on my last picture! I loved each one of them and took them to heart. Hope you all have a great end to the year :)
