For those of you who don't know, in grad school I focused on mobile applications and grid computing. I figured it would be a safe bet to focus on 2 area's of computing that I thought had a future.

Even though I thought both area's were interesting, I can see a future in mobile application development. I don't have a mac so I can't develop iPhone apps, so I figured I'd give this Android thing a shot.

My book arrived yesterday. I am pretty damn excited to get started on a new chapter in my career.

This is the home screen I am using now on my iPhone 4.

I use GridLock to place the icons in their respective places.

No Page Dots and RemoveDock are used and they do exactly what they say they do.

AndroidLoader holds all the apps in one easy to access place.

SBSettings shows the RAM usage and the date in the status bar.

PerPageHTML with the HTC Weather Animated addon displays the clock. I used iFile to go in and set my hometown, fahrenheit temperatures, and to get rid of the 7-day forecast that displays under it.

Wallpaper is from the Pimp My Screen app.
