We lost many trees in my community in Nova Scotia as a result of this hurricane. It's heart breaking to see them torn up by the roots. We still have no power, but that seems less tragic than the loss of so mamy fine old trees.
Now I know why people have smart phones. I have resisted and don't have one, but like any good camper, I do have an inverter and can plug my modem into my car and get the internet. I guess technology does have its advantages.
