As far as sticks go, Blanca subscribes to the motto: The bigger the better! With considerable effort she dragged this huge branch out of the water (see photo in first comment) and up onto the dune. Quite an impressive feat ... but she forgot one thing: Her mom cannot throw that stick for her!! LOL!
Going up, I hope the weather holds for them whilst the new roof is constructed!

Ladies and Gentleman may I introduce the latest addition to our clan, Jasper! He's a 9 week old Border Collie pup with lots of ambition and just plain cuteness!! Jasper has already shown a keen interest in photography as he knows when to smile for the camera.
(I don't normally put up photos of my dogs, but couldn't resist this time...the birds will return soon.)

Because there was a hunger in me to see everything and do everything. I wanted to be everyone I saw. I wasn't enough for me. Can you understand that?

Hello there! I hope all is well my friends! Happy Humpday! I am here featuring Ayla. with this new bedroom set called Loft Bedroom which is new to the Shiny Shabby Event! This set is really gorgeous. I love black/darker spaces so this set was right up my alley today. I also have some of my favorite fur friends from JIAN. The Forest Cat collection is one of my favorites from the store and they add personality to any space! Most of the items in here are from Ayla. I have all of the credits on the blog so feel free to have a look! Thank you dearly for the support my friends and I wish all of you a blessed day! xoxo <3333 Ebony

A little to the right of this is a brothel. So, yes, you get your bang one way or the other.
A male Crimson Sunbird (Aethopyga siparaja) was scanning for the small insects in an early morning between bushes and network of branches. I was chasing this agile beauty for long and finally got it for a moment in a relatively open area. The beauty of the red colour and the two purple dazzling colour stripes in neck made that noticeable from a distance. Finally managed it in poor light. Pics was taken from Mahananda Wildlife Sanctuary in West Bengal, India.
Cattle Egret / Kuhreiher (Bubulcus ibis)
I couldn't help but smile when I watched this ambitious Cattle Egret struggle to balance across my eye-line with an enormous stick!
Another Whitby abbey at sunset, My title is a line from a Pink Floyd song and I think quite appt for us , we desire and have ambition to create the best photography we can , now do you know the song from which this line came .
Many thanks for taking my shot (Can this be a dream ) www.flickr.com/photos/17469730@N00/34647311461/in/datetak... into explore.
The beaver markings were fresh, so I'm sure our presence annoyed them. Maybe next year we'll have a better view of the pond.

This little guitar is dreaming of one day playing at The Ryman... I'd settle for just a chance to visit!
For Looking Close...on Friday!'s #keychain theme
(Honestly, until two months ago, I'd never heard of The Ryman, though apparently it's fairly well known in musical circles, mainly for being the home of the Grand Ole Opry in Nashville and hosting many country music legends. As a family, we're huge country music fans. My husband was lucky enough to visit Nashville for work earlier this year. This was present for our guitar-playing youngest son. )

A grey heron attempting to swallow a large (1 kg plus) perch at Burton Mere Wetlands RSPB reserve. I'm pretty sure the fish was dead, but am less sure as to whether the heron killed it or found it.
I watched it for a while during which it made several attempts to fit in the fish, none of which were successful.
