The Middle Eastern short-fingered gecko is found at a small area of israel where you can find dunes and soft sand, For now this species is at a big danger because over the years people keep destroying their homes, build and take sand. I hope one day people will finally wake up and understand the amount of lives and species we lose every year for our own good without looking at the other lives we should share our world with.

A neighbor's yard on the walk to Volunteer Park is filled with these beautiful flowers in full bloom. The bokeh - background is the sun hitting the house and yard across the street from the flowers.

.... but that doesn't stop him from flowering!

Alicia created a poem to this foto !!

"I see it singing in muted notes to souls in transit where passages are seen in the light of the golden fallen leaves and so a line of a beginning of a verse for this reads:

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
" I hear in your muted song the passing of souls and see in your eyes the eternal silence of it all.."
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

thank you ((( Alicia ))))

Oh Water Lily

Oh sweet and fragrant lily,

from still water… quietly,

you find your way to sunshine,

and the bumble bee.

I wish i had more time to take more pictures of this cute face! The lost focus of it makes me kinda disappointed but i guess it's still pretty nice.

For sure from the Megachilidae Family but sadly i couldn't find a more specific ID.

Voglia di estate e di colori! La vivacità è di moda.... :-))

Very slightly cropped

Much better large or original please xx

more Macros...

I have a new found respect for all of my Flickr friends and their amazing macro skills.

I spent a lot of time over the last five days, experimenting with my macro lens and I have to say a reasonable amount of frustration was experienced. Having said that I was very happy when I saw this one on screen!

I have soooooo many photos to sort through, may take me a while to catch up on the red ones but hope to be up to date by the weekend!
