no photoretouch. It is not digital.

Photography concept

The camera is used instead of the brush.

expresses it with the camera.

I want to take a photograph like a watercolor painting.

I want to express the picture in the photograph.

searches for the focus to cut one hair gently.

There is a reason why I use classic reversal film.

I like digital Camera. However, it challenges very difficult reversal film.

I want to establish the SATOSHI style.

This is an apple peel for Macro Monday's topic of the day : "It's A-Peeling To Me"

I tried to peel an apple very close to the skin without breaking the peeling, It was a competition my father and I used to have whenever we ate apples. :-)

Happy birthday to someone. Again, 2013.

Plumbago are everywhere and the flowers are such a pretty shade of mauve, but what grabbed my attention was the forest of little green 'hairs' with their sticky droplets along the bottom of the stems of each flower. They are so willowy and delicate. Nature is amazing.

Appolo or Mountain Appolo .

French Alps 2016 .

Today I thought I would post one of the largest and most beautiful butterflies I have ever seen . I was on a 15 day trip up in the French alps back in 2016 with some friends . We were high up in alps when I said to my friend, it would be amazing to see an Appolo up here . He said I think it’s probably too early , I said it’s been unusually warm early up in the alps this year so you never know . As we climbed up higher towards the village of Isola we rounded a sharp bend and too our utter amazement we saw quite a large number of Appolos nectaring on corn flower . So we hastily found somewhere to safely park and we were rewarded with some amazing macro images . A trip I will never forget.

WONDERFUL FACTS - Owls Don't Have Eyeballs - What they have instead are better described as eye tubes. Since they can't move these tubes back and forth, owls have developed incredible neck flexibility to be able to see the world around them. They can turn their heads a whopping 270 degrees, whereas humans can only manage about 180.

As a result, owls have a special blood vessel system in their heads to keep fresh blood circulating to the brain when a quick head turn cuts off circulation. 💞
