Amazing capture of my son and the female polar bear at the Columbus Zoo and Aquarium. This almost looks like a painting.
4th November 2010

Never shot Marina before so tonight was a treat. She was extremely pretty lady and a pleasure to photograph. The fan centre stage blowing her hair the hole set makes for some amazing captures along with the eye contact she gives to the camera during her performance.
Lighting was a bit off with some dodgy colours and the white balance on my camera had a mind of its own tonight. Few manual tweaks in lightroom and she was looking better then ever again. Really appreciating the difference in quality between editing from Jpeg's and Raw.
Fawns Wetland Dragonfly Flyover
The wonderful scene is another one of my game trail camera amazing captures as the Dragonflies Hunt Mosquitos overhead. This fawn down in the wetlands was in the high grass on the muddy lake edge.. The automatic camera captured it dead center of the frame. Game Trail Cameras us Infra-red motion detection to trigger the shutter and like any automatic camera, will snap what is in front of them. Depending on the lighting, Game Trail Cameras can even take a good photo now and then. This is an amazing shot from one of the cantankerous things.
As I’ve said a few times before, each and every one has problems but this one is a pretty good capture. It took virtually no work to fix the built in image issues of the Game Trail camera. I get captures like this because 1: I run a lot of cameras with 29 currently in the network. 2: I place them in unusual places with viewpoints that are not just on a post at animal neck level. I often put cameras very low looking up or in places like this where it’s obvious by the trails that game frequents the area. Setting a camera up too high would resultsin the capture getting the tip of it’s ears. Properly setting it low in the spring just about promised me it would catch a fawn.
One of the few things you have control of with Game Trail Cameras is where you put them. I could write a chapter on placing game trail cameras.
Location: Bliss DInosaur Ranch, Wyoming/Montana borderlands.
Title: Fawns Wetland Dragonfly Flyover
i should have titled this one, "Count Paco".
as scary as Paco looks in this picture, he really isn't a vampire dog. he's actually the biggest cuddler you'll ever meet. :)
have a happy thanksgiving everyone!
I managed to get this amazing capture while drinking a Mythos and sitting on my ass. This is from the top of our hostel at Athens Backpackers. You too can get this shot if you stay there and are lazy enough not to stand up.

My very favorite picture of all the vacations! I was walking through the mighty rain and suddenly noticed smth swimming there... Thanks fortune for this amazing capture! Rain, strong wind, maximum zoom, no tripod... But leastways I got what kind of creature it was! :))))))))

marian_po: Amazing capture, I'm just crazy about London's street-art! :)
amandact: @tomllewellyn thank you!
amandact: @marian_po thanks again Marian! I love it too! There isn't any in the city where I come from, so I always find it exciting when I see some.
marian_po: Thank you for sharing with us! :)) Amanda, what is your native city? :)
amandact: @marian_po Leicester. It's a city in the Midlands about 150km from London. It feels so small and provincial compared to London. I go back to visit my parents but I could never live there again!
mdubbbbb: Nice
amandact: @mikeydubbb Thanks!
This is probably my most favorite picture that ive ever taken.. there is NO editing.. simple amazing capture...
My intentions were to snap a picture of a house that was outside the window, but i didnt roll the window down, so instead of seeing anything outside i got a reflection of Anthonys face and head and mid-section, and a heart that i drew on the fog in the window probably a week or two ago! lol i thought this was the coolest picture ever,.. so yeah i hope someone else enjoys this =)
Following Sally's death in 2015 this is the winding up sale of her remaining works, those ceramics and paintings of her husband Mick, who predeceased her as well as all tools, sketches and other ephemera.
Sally always worked from life and observed her subjects closely and the sculptures have and amazing capture of the animal's character in them.

What I love about Lewitt is its clarity, depth, and dimension. As a Producer, Singer and Songwriter I'm all about creating worlds. With all the software filters that are available on the market, modern recording requires a genuine voicing to play with. Lewitt does the job. You don't need to be a sound engineer to make the Lewitt sound amazing. Captures a true essential sound. Appropriately named, it's an 'Authentica' after all....
Another person walked by about this time, and expressed amazement at how close this bird let people get to it! I'm puzzled that some birds will let me get this close and others won't. Can't they tell I won't hurt them? :)

Have you had enough of "double rainbows?" I know I have...the day.. or evening rather of the double sunset makes its well awaited debut in this amazing capture. Who said two suns don't exist? I didn't

We were at the end of the trip, and hauling the canoe up to the truck. Rob was in front and suddenly he drops the front of the canoe and falls to the ground.
So, now, I'm a lifeguard. First responder. Thinking of going through an EMT course. I see Rob drop, and I'm thinking -- "crap, he's having a heart attack."
But, he wasn't -- he was catching a skink. He kept saying "I'm killing him. Oh, crap, I'm killing him."
I started laughing and asked -- "If you're killing him, why not let him go?"
"NOOOOOO! I. MUST. CATCH. HIM!"
Finally, he got the skink, and we got some pictures, and let him go.
It was an amazing capture. I just wish I had recorded the entire thing.
