It has been thawing for two days now, and the snow has gone. This might be my last snow-white scene this winter...

I was inspired by this amazing capture Vicki posted two weeks ago, and even though the result of my attempt is not half as good, I'm satisfied with it...

The day before Mother's Day, I met my soul sister Mary for a coffee at the Adelaide botanical gardens...

After our coffee we went for a walk through the gardens (so I could do my usual shoots...Mary is a true friend, never tires of me bringing my camera along), as we were walking Mary says "you might want to take a shot of that" pointing up...there was a wedding proposal...some of it had dispersed and didn't make for a good shot but I caught the best part...the heart at the end

It was so romantic...I said to my friend "if she doesn't marry him I will" lol...unfortunately he didn't put his phone # up there hehehe...

Wishing you all dear flickerinos, a weekend filled with LOVE and LAUGHTER...

Loving wishes

Nat :)

This shot illustrating just the way I wanted, credit goes to professional photographer who volunteered for this. I doubt that remote could detect the signal from the camera that far. It was truly amazing captured, though it had 5 continuous shots, I still prefer the first attempt.

The original shot contained a tree and slight blue sky tone, I just get rid of those, wanted to wipe out any other objects and colours besides the white sands. Trying to produce an overall white feeling of it and put the focus on us.

Another 6 days will be coming to an end of the twenty sixteen, a new chapter will begin and all start over and fresh. I am always grateful I have an understanding wifey, who been with me for so many years irregardless rain or shine, happy or sad physically and mentally.

Lastly before I go to bed, Merry Christmas to all of you and happy new year.

I'M BACK BABY!

as promised, heres the next fig iin the batman forever part of the series. Again sorry for the hiatus for a while, but now things should be going back on track.

So:

1) New hair mold that splits between groomed, to really wavy. This will be in duel molded too like TLBM with it half black and half maganta/dark pink

2) Duel molded head in half and half with flesh and lighter pink. I came across a custom Tommy Lee Jones two face figure (i dont know who made it but a pic of it is here www.flickr.com/photos/99966748@N03/33290575318)

and the face print was SO amazing capturing tommy's split looks, i just had to do something like it, but give him his nice sinister blue liped grin.

3) While originally i was gonna go all out having the hair, head, torso, and hip peice all duel molded, i reckon the duel molding would brake the hip piece, and the torso, tho a cool concept would only just be confusing. So i just stuck with what lego usually does and do printing. Torso splits into classic black suit to maganta/dark pink suit with tiger striped print down to his legs and arms. with added show printing for his legs, and basic tiger pattern continues on arm. His tie also splits from classic red to a weird leapord print. man the 90s . . . .

4) since i already gave tim burton harvey the coin, i just gave tommy two face a gun, but it's the old pistols. they should really bring them back.

And here ya go. the first fig from my hiatus. what do ya think? and as an inside lil teaser, theres a surprise fig cameo in this 5 series of figs from your movie, i won't tell who, but it has something to do with kissing roses . . . ;)

One more morning no more than 20 images blended together. Shot before six and not before five that's all I have the time for.

Rare for Nebraska in November that is....

There was some risk of severe weather that afternoon. In fact.... way out of season severe weather. There was just enough instability by afternoon to allow the thunderstorms to develop, strengthen, and even spin up a few tornadoes in the 4-5 p.m. CST time frame.

I had a 5 hour drive back from Missouri and was exhausted. Plus I had to work in a few hours so chasing this storm was just not possible that afternoon. But I did venture out to capture a few snaps of that afternoons events.

Pictured here were the cells effecting the Red Cloud to Clay Center Nebraska areas. I was just to the south of the I-80 Minden Interchange. Found a cozy spot without any powerlines and pointed my camera to the east southeast.

Yup, its the early hours of Wednesday morning which means I am wayyyyyy ahead of everyone else in posting a HBW shot in the Northern Hemisphere.

I am still feeling away with the fairies as I am recovering after a major attack. Slept for 25 hours straight and the only reason I know its Wednesday is because my computer tells me so.

My brain can't even think up a Monty Python quip at the moment so I think I will leave it at that!!!

On Sunday June 19, 2016, I went to the early morning (7am SLT) dance show by the Club Image Dance team in SecondLife. A weekly event I try never to miss as their dance creations are amazing.

Capture of the amazing Misse Tigerpaw's mastered creation and choreography of SecondLife Dance Art.... Truly stunning to witness in person!!!

What a *GREAT* title!

Any suggestions for a better one are very welcome!

I took this photo at Mildura Sth Aust., it was a magical day (as you can see by the sky) the Sun was shining brightly above these birds and it gave them a glow effect....

I thought this was an appropriate photo for my poem below...although it was actually written (in part) about our 'Indian ring neck' bird, that flew to freedom.......the dog knocked the cage over while the bird was outside enjoying some Sun.

I love watching birds in flight and as much as I love birds for pets...I don't like to see them in cages...

PRECIOUS BIRD

Precious bird, fly away

Don't look back, it'll be ok

leave your cage, it's not for you

Precious bird, so beautiful

Precious bird, flight, you should know

The cage is opened now, you can go

Spread your wings, fly with all your might

Precious bird, it'll be alright

Precious bird, your battle's won

Fly to the sky, the moon, the Sun

You have tasted liberty

Precious bird, you're now set free

My dear flickr buddies, be happy be free, the sky is the limit!

Have a magical weekend, everyone! :)

Please don't stand so close to me

I'm having trouble breathing

I'm afraid of what you'll see right now

I give you everything I am

All my broken heart beats

Until I know you'll understand

www.youtube.com/watch?v=ROqTa1mn_qc

The sun is filling up the room

And I can hear you dreaming

Do you feel the way I do right now?

I wish we would just give up

Cause the best part is falling

Call it anything but love

And I keep waiting

For you to take me

You keep waiting

To save what we have

So I'll make sure to keep my distance

Say, "I love you," and you're not listening

And how long can we keep this up, up, up?

How long 'til we call this love, love, love?

Not all that naturally-aesthetically appealing of a setting, but this Merlin nestling caught my eye. Captured high up a sign post along the scenic North Shore/Lake Superior Drive in Minnesota. It was chattering away to the parents; who were tucked away in some thick foliage a short distance removed.

p.s. A resident living nearby informed me that the nest hole

was excavated last year by pileated woodpeckers. The

woodpeckers did not return this year, and the merlins

moved in.

The Great Eggfly (Hypolimnas bolina), also called the Blue Moon Butterfly in New Zealand or Common Eggfly, is a species of nymphalid butterfly.

Hypolimnas bolina is known for maternal care, with the females guarding leaves where eggs have been laid. The female hovers over a plant to check for ants which will eat her eggs. After selecting a plant which has no ants on it, she lays at least one but often two to five eggs on the undersides of the leaves.
