Be honest. Are the dots horrendous? I'm trying to make this a little more creative, because it's a simple, un-artistive, non-creative photo. Sorry...

My favorite type of shot with the blurry background. Getting the background to "cooperate" is easy, Getting Libby to cooperate, not so easy.... but worth it!

Last night I had a dream about my Father...

I have them from time to time.

They're usually a little distressing...

Of him in bed sick or in the hospital before he died.

This one was a little different...

It was ME who was in hospital.

I'd been there over night and they told me I could go home now...

They told me there was someone in the waiting room for me...

Who had been there all night too...

I opened the door and there sitting amongst a group of other waiting people...

Was my Father!

He stood up and walked over to me...

And gave me the biggest hug!

He stood so tall and strong and it was so damn vivid...

The clothes he wore, the hat he wore and the expression on his face.

Just as I remembered him all those years ago when he was well.

Then I woke up!

It made me cry!

But not really tears of sadness...

More an emotional response to what had just happened.

It wasn't like most of the dreams I have had over the past 20 years since he died...

He looked so strong and healthy this time...

It was like he was there this time to look after me!

It was like he knew I'd been going through sad times.

When I woke up this morning I had to right it down.

It's comforting to know that the ones we lose...

We never really lose...

They're always with us when we need them! %-)

oh, i'm bein' followed by a moonshadow, moonshadow, moonshadow

leapin and hoppin on a moonshadow, moonshadow, moonshadow

and if i ever lose my hands, lose my plough, lose my land,

oh if i ever lose my hands, oh if.... i won't have to work no more.

and if i ever lose my eyes, if my colours all run dry,

yes if i ever lose my eyes, oh if.... i won't have to cry no more.

and if i ever lose my legs, i won't moan, and i won't beg,

yes if i ever lose my legs, oh if.... i won't have to walk no more.

and if i ever lose my mouth, all my teeth, north and south,

yes if i ever lose my mouth, oh if.... i won't have to talk...

did it take long to find me? i asked the faithful light.

did it take long to find me? and are you gonna stay the night?

i know i already posted a blue shot today, but when i was leaving the house this morning the sun was just coming up, yet the moon was still bright and visible in the sky -- and when i saw this pinkish contrail drifting right across it, i knew i had to shoot it. yep, it's noisy and technically crappy, but i'm posting it anyway, for a few reasons -- one of which i will share with you:

my pal ania told me today that her daughter oliwia, who's almost three, knows two words in english now: no, and moon. (this is exceptional, given that her parents are polish, and she is growing up in germany.)
