once the cm had torn through the fruit plate, eaten most of the chocolate covered strawberries and not to mention hogged all the camera time.. we thought we better put away the gloves or we could never afford dinner and more importantly the bar bill... grand dame costs a fortune at a hotel...
so v put her reluctant alter ego away for the evening...

These surprised me because they use "lolita" in the name in the Japanese fashion sense instead of the creepy, sexy child way most people think of it. It shows that the company figures enough people out there know about it to "get it".
The name seemed really random to me. If you'd asked ME to design a "lolita wig", I probably would have turned out a pigtailed wig in a single color that had tight ringlets like the "Storybook" ones they sell.Turns out the bi-colored wigs ARE a thing, just a trend I didn't know about.

*The guy grew up on a farm-driving tractors and riding horses and if you look in his closet you'll find Wranglers and Ropers, and on the wall in our room hangs his Cowboy hat. Hes been into custom trucks since he was a kid and along w/his pitbull he also has a chihuahua.

people in my regular life know me as Anna. If they know me as a photographer in real life, they soon start calling me Zee or Zee Anna. Somewhere between my online presence and my life merged. I'm okay with that. Except when your then-bf started referring to you as Zee, that got a little weird. Zee is me. I am Zee, but I was Anna first.
so i was talking to ali about my last ten days. and she was like: lets bust out the blonde wigs and do a lady gaga week in TOTW! and i was like: OMG YES!
Dark and Moody arent really my forte and I rarely do these, but I like the feel of this. This was actually a high key originally but I like this treatment a whole lot better. :)
today was funnnnnn ive only missed one day of gym this week, tomorrow i will be going again and again summer is around the corner! today i got the furniture rearranged in both bedrooms (mine and the guest/studio) so now all i need is to vacuum and decorate!! YAY!!!!
this is exciting. i kinda like being home when no one is nagging me to do things.
yesterday i was covering a fundraiser in Cape Coral and made alot of cool new contacts, two of the contacts i saw later at the Reserve! it was hilarious!
I'm happy.

Musically Challenged: Dumb Things
TRP: Alter Ego
My alter ego is someone who is fearless and afraid of nothing, as I, myself, can be a very cowardly person. In my alter ego self portrait, I am growing into someone who is brave and who will open the dark, mysterious door. There are multiple me's, to convey to idea of turning into my alter ego.
The dark door in the photo represents fear and uncertainty. Your eyes scan from the left of the photo to the right, where I am turning from a person cowering in the corner, to someone standing up to fear, and facing it.
For my alter ego self portrait, I used a technique of layering in photoshop to combine different photos into one. I also used a small shutter remote to set off the shutter to capture the image.
I have just really got into the whole photography world. My personality is very different from most people my age/ generation. I’m the baby of my family, but I had to grow up at a very early age. I think that photography is an amazing way for people like me to express how we feel/ and see the world. My attitude towards most situations in my life is “you only got this one life, live it up!” I don’t let anyone get in the way of what I want and/or need. I am a strong and smart woman, and I think that it shows in my photos.
I definitely feel more comfortable taking my photos outside in nature. I love capturing the “real world,” our environment that we survive off of. Nature makes me feel better about myself because there are no flaws. You can do all the editing, cropping, and changing colors to the photos, but it cannot top the natural beauty that nature gives off all by itself. I also like capturing photos of more meaningful to myself and who is viewing it.
As I mentioned in the beginning, that I surely have a very different personality and outlook on life. Many people just see me as the funny, outgoing, and strong girl here at Joe’s, but the truth is my life is so different when I’m outside out the campus. In my traditional photo, the duct tape symbolizes my inner and personal feeling about myself that is never said or never talked about. I thought that this project was going to be challenging but when I knew how I wanted people to see me for what I see, this was perfect. On the other hand, my alter ego is the complete opposite from the traditional. The heels, skirt, and nice looking blouse, are definitely not who I am. This photo is supposed to symbolize that this is the total opposite of who I really am. I chose to take this photo inside because it’s the opposite of who I am, and I usually like to be outside in nature.
