Artist Statement
Who am I? It is a question that I have been asking myself for a while. In this picture I am trying to show that I want to let go of the bad things from my past. Even though they all happened for a reason and all my experiences from the past form who I am today. There are still some of those hard times that I wish I could let go of. I think that the grainy affect shows that my life is at times unclear and that I still do not know what I want for my future, but as I continue to grow it will keep getting clearer and become more in focus.
I have always wanted to play the guitar. In grade school I was in the band and played the clarinet but there is something about the guitar that I think would be so awesome to know how to play. I do not have time right now to learn, but I am hoping some day to have the time to take lessons and learn a few songs.
