Brickworks, Toronto, Canada.
That year the fall was very “slow”. I visited Brickworks many times trying to track its development and the change. On one morning things just came together. There was a bit of morning fog, the early sunlight was gentle and there were still few leaves which contrasted nicely with the yellowed grasses.
IT HAS BEEN A BEAUTIFUL WEEK HERE THIS LAST WEEK---SUNNY EVERYDAY---BUT AUTUMN IS ALMOST HERE :)
THANKS FOR LOOKING!
I know this is not the sharpest photo, but I just liked how those three geese are flying almost on top of each other. Kind of hard to say which one is in front.
I got a good look at the family of Egyptian geese today whose photo I posted earlier (see the link in the comments). They were tiny fluff balls one month ago, and now they seem almost grown up :-))
Have a wonderful weekend everybody!

A panorama of the big meadows and the Sierra Nevada mountains from out of Bridgeport. For me and my family, this was our heaven on Earth.
Quiet afternoon, almost
with peace of mind,
to be young, to have been
when God wanted, for
have some joys... Away,
and to be able to sweetly remember them.

Without the 1970’s GM iron inconveniently parked in sight of this vantage point, this could easily have been a scene from the 1950’s in rural southern Virginia. In fact, Norfolk & Western 2-6-6-4 1218 is leading an Alexandria – Front Royal excursion on the Southern at Rectortown, Virginia.

Backlit shot on some weeds with an unexpected visitor in the frame, the wasp wasn't supposed to be there, but without it the picture might have had a different attractiveness.
