A juvenile Ibis flying into the bush ... with power lines in the background. Almost got this one in the clear! Polishing pond of Cross Creek Ranch, Fulshear, Texas.
The Peljesac Bridge, designed by Slovenian engineer Marjan Pipenbaher, was joined this year in July and should be opened to traffic in summer next year.
This one is dedicated to my neighbour who allows me to use his dock as a vantage point for photographing the sunrise at Keefer Lake. His dock has almost a 270 degree view north-east to south-west whereas our dock is in a small bay and faces south - south west. He will recognize the subject whereas it may be a puzzle for others. :) Thank you neighbour!

The forecast predicted clouds, so arising early I brought coffee and cameras to the roof.
It was very pleasant, about 40ºF and almost windless. I found that I miss the old swamp cooler, the top of which made a nice table for my gear.

Communicating by written word, or even paying by cheque, are activities becoming outdated or obsolete. I love writing with this pen which I have had for most of my adult life, but nowadays such a pleasure is confined to birthday, greetings or Christmas cards.

I've taken to random sim hopping of late. I just ... pull open my map and select a place at random and go. Or open old LMs from years ago and take a trip to see what's there nowadays. It's been a lot of fun! I've found myself at some incredibly beautiful (and some incredibly kooky) places, and this one ... this one was so picturesque I put a fancy outfit on and took a snap.
There isn't much I've done here, save some light painting and filters - the place is just that beautiful. And if you get the chance to check the sim out (well, there's two sims, actually), I recommend you run around and explore. There's an unparalelled library, a huge wine cellar, car garage, lounges, gardens, pools, yachts - all the things! LOL
