Ever been in a situation where everything went perfect and you couldn't think of a complaint even if your life depended on it? Yeah... this evening felt just like it should.

Another Cowes sunset... and to suggest that not all sunsets need the sun :-)

so let me hammer this point home

i see us all as lonely fires that have burned alive as long as we remember

but like all fireworks and all sunsets, we all burn in different ways

you are a fast explosion and i am the embers

and though your flames are quick and mean, they will not last the year,

but expire like a sudden falling star

that only nightingales had seen, before migrating to southern jungles

and in this way you will come find me in December

Morningside bridge, overlooking the 401 at the Morningside exit. To the right is a Wal-Mart and other assorted box stores. To the left, housing. Forward, a rather unique sunset. Given, all sunsets are Unique :)

2 Exposure HDR. All my shots turned out subpar because I was freezing cold, but I managed to salvage these two with Photomatix.

A nice photo of this morning's awesome super flower blood moon total eclipse. I was with my cousin at the time. This made waking up super early totally worth it. Gotta love astronomy! Pic taken from Communications Hill in San Jose, CA. (Predawn of Wednesday, May 26, 2021; 4:33 a.m.)

*This year's largest full moon arrived with an added bonus for stargazers early Wednesday (May 26), as the only total lunar eclipse of 2021 created an eerie red sight in the predawn sky. The result: a Super Flower Blood Moon that wowed spectators, including myself! The eclipse was visible from the western part of the Americas, islands of the Pacific Ocean, all of Australia and parts of eastern Asia. In the penumbra phase, the Earth's shadow blocks sunlight imperfectly. As a result, the moon was still visible but slightly dimmer. The shorter and more awe-inspiring umbra phase takes place when the moon enters Earth's complete shadow. The total eclipse occurs in the middle of this 3-hour passage; this time, totality lasted about 16 minutes and turned the moon red (an effect caused by the Earth's atmosphere where all sunsets and sunrises were projected onto the lunar surface!). Earth was to catch the next lunar eclipse on Nov. 18, although this one was to be somewhat imperfect as a small sliver of the moon’s disk was to remain outside the umbra. According to Diana Hannikainen, of Sky & Telescope, the experience for regular viewers will be almost indistinguishable from a total lunar eclipse. The next total lunar eclipse was to take place on May 15-16, 2022 and was to be best observed from the western parts of Europe and Africa, and most of the Americas…

Let's face it, high carbon emissions and radioactive fallout make for some stunning evening viewing. And what better way to enjoy it than knowing you precision bioelectric sheep are making fine wool out of the chlorinated hydrocarbons and strontium.

One of my favourite things to do at Varadero was to go down to the beach in the evening to catch the sunset.

All sunsets are wonderful, but some are more dramatic than others. Some days you had to jostle for position to get just the right shot.

This photo was taken the same night as the two previous ones...it wasn't the most amazing Sunset but all Sunsets, have some sort of beauty for me...here, I like the touch of gold, with all the neutrals!

Loving wishes, dear friends!

Nat :)

So perfect that all sunset shots were straight from camera :)

I guess you could call this a minimalist Sunset with only one significant cloud hanging above the western horizon to be lit by the setting sun. Like all sunsets it has a beauty unique to this day. Near my home outside Marietta Ohio.

Secondo Alfred Hitchcock, i tramonti di Zara sono anche più belli di quelli che si possono ammirare in California.
