Tonle Sap is a lake in the middle of Hanoi.

It has this strange, lurid green, gooey algae all in it.

Bio: Loose ankle causes her to have a little bit of a shuffle as she walks around Penguin Island. Over the past couple of years, Algae has "spent time" with "Pippin" #155, "Captain" #63, and "Howard" #182.. For what it's worth, she does stay with "Howard" throughout the breeding season months.

Algae on the surface of the lake

This and a couple other fish of this type were brought to the lake and pond to clean up the algae that had formed across them both. They were very hungry and it was cleaned up quickly. I think these fish are beautiful and understand they don't come cheap. This one looks like it was flying across the water but in fact was swimming as it does very close to the surface.
