First Saturday since relaxation of Covid-19 lockdown restrictions. Seating set up outside many cafes, restaurants & bars where permitted & space allows.
Last year at this time we were in Munich [yes, I am that behind on organizing my photos :-( ]. Mother's Day found us visiting the Deutsches Museum Verkehrszentrum ("Traffic Center"), the newest branch of the museum and relating to "everything that moves us" (except airplanes, which have their own separate branch museum in the suburbs). We then had lunch at the Hacker-Pschorr Brauhaus, just at the edge of the Oktoberfest grounds. Because it was Mother's Day, they gave a glass of champagne to all the ladies (proof of motherhood not required, thank goodness :-)).
