Clarke Quay Singapore used to be godowns along Singapore River where boats delivered their goods here to be stored in the 19th century. Today it has been conserved, redeveloped and transformed into a place for dining, pubs and bars which attract tourists and locals.
Outdoor table at Buvette in the West Village of New York City. Great restaurant!

Rude Tattoo Parlour in Headingley, Leeds. Very elaborately decorated and well worth stopping by for a photograph.
The local TAFE college provides an outdoors dining area for students who use the cafeteria. I struck them on a particularly quiet day. The Infra Red does give this an interesting surrealist feel.
Another shot of this delightful, semi-wild miniature pony. He roams the New Forest freely and is often spotted grazing close to Exbury.
There is a glass building that looked tantalising in the last shot so here it is. I though it too similar to add on but hey ho I rather liked the reflections and a few more people so it looked less like a lockdown.... which it wasn't actually....happy weekend everyone
Eastbourne in Sussex has huge stretches of beautifully clean beaches with fine sea views, plus some delightful and restful esplanade gardens. Some visitors, however, prefer the towering girders and stilts of the Victorian pier as their culinary backdrop… and, well, why not, if that's what you like?
Freeing memories long left languishing on old rolls of film; neglected in the bottom of drawers and old packing cases. All caught up now - I hope.
The joy and disappointment of developing film still calls to me - digital image making works too. In this case they are working together - scanning film using a digital camera is so much quicker than using a scanner; though the time required to process images remains the same.
Back street dining in Leeds city centre. I must point out, Leeds is really vibrant and has some great eating and drinking venues.
We had lunch here (steak sandwiches on Balkan flatbread). It was one of what seemed to be about a thousand outdoor cafes inside Dubrovnik Old Town.
My dog had enough of the photo portion of his walk and gave the leash a good tug, which resulted in this crazy angle....lucky to be focused!

The estancia, owned by the same family for over 100 years, is set in a 2,470 acre ranch that produces 12,000 liters of milk daily. It is used by the Uruguayan government when entertaining guests, offering them an authentic glimpse of Uruguayan life. Part of the fun is travelling to the river by choice of a hay truck, an old model T or a horse drawn carriage. A traditional barbeque (asado) is served accompanied by national wines.
We enjoyed our visit here very much. The barbeque was amazing.

Al fresco dining at The Black Lamb Brasserie and Aquitaine Bistro. And a car parked outside of the charming house at 22 Montgomery, with its quaint, mansard-like roof.

COVID-imposed social distancing has forced restaurants and the cities they're in to adapt in order to survive. On rue Cartier in Québec City they now completely close the street to traffic on the weekends and evenings, allowing the restaurants to install tables smack in the middle of the road! Plenty of free space for safe dining, and no noise and exhaust fumes. It's a shame it took a pandemic to allow people and cities to think and act differently.
In Barcelona for a conference and our host took us to a beach near to the airport. The seafood was lovely and the evening was warm
Good time! Good day! Good models!

Stone Street is a short street in the Financial District of Manhattan, New York City. It is one of New York's oldest streets, established at least as early as 1632. Originally known by its Dutch name, Hoogh Straet (High Street), it was renamed Duke Street by the British (for the Duke of York) and renamed again as Stone Street in 1794 because of its cobblestone paving, as New Yorkers abandoned reminders of British rule. The street's stores and lofts were re-built for dry-goods merchants and importers shortly after the Great Fire of 1835. The eastern portion of the street and the surrounding buildings have been protected since 1996 by the New York City Landmarks Preservation Commission as the Stone Street Historic District and is home to a lot of restaurants and bars.
Painting - Acyrlic on Canvas 18 x 18 inches. This is a scene on Friday night at Degraves Street, the famous destination in the City for alfresco dining and street arts. A famous lane way where both visitors and people from Melbourne's CBD unwind after a hard week.
Degraves features numerous bars, shops, cafes and restaurants. The art deco architecture, dining umbrellas and café canopies mean the street is often described as having a Parisian or European flavour. Redevelopment of the Mutual Store in 2006 has further enhanced the lane with additional shops.
Degraves Street with the Majorca Building at the street's northern end, Many of the taller, older buildings were also converted into loft style apartments in the 1990s, adding further life to the area. Street art and graffiti are commonplace, whilst buskers/street performers also frequent the laneway, adding to its atmosphere
Steak sandwich - beef, carmelized onions, roasted peppers and cheese sauce on somun (a Balkan flatbread that is more normally served with Ćevapi or ćevapčići). Cepvapi or cevapcici is a grilled dish of minced meat shaped in small logs and is found traditionally in the countries of southeast Europe (the Balkans). They are usually served in groups of five to ten pieces on a plate or in a flatbread (lepinja or somun), often with chopped onions, kajmak, ajvar (optional), and salt.
The sandwich was huge.
We love pizza! On the first day of our stay, David had the Salsiccia e Porcini pizza - tomato sauce, sausages, porcini mushrooms, basil and extra virgin olive oil.
His beer was Nastro Azzurro.
The Gulfport FL restaurant where we dined al fresco tonight. My wife BG and good friend Jim can be glimpsed under the canopy.
Outdoor dining at Circular Quay East. Sydney Harbour Bridge in the background. I can't think of a better view to digest an evening meal and glass of wine............can you ??
Located in possibly the most exclusive harbour side spot in East Circular Quay, the Sydney Cove Oyster Bar is set among a backdrop of the Harbour Bridge and the Sydney Opera House, it's maybe the most superb location for sipping a chilled white and sucking down one of the many oyster varietals they offer.
The history of this federation building dates back to 1908 when it was constructed for the workers at Burns Philp & Co as part of the wharf facilities that serviced the many Island trading ships during the early to mid 1900's.
It remained unaltered until 1987 when Circular Quay was redeveloped in preparation for Australia's bicentennial celebrations in 1988. Part of that redevelopment was to change the usage of this heritage-listed building to a restaurtant and in doing so was the first step towards making East Circular Quay a true people precinct.
