I'm glad our winters are mild otherwise this would have been a near impossible challenge.lol I wish I had had some other stuff at home, like some roast chicken legs or grapes.....LOL thanks to Ella for lending me her fake bread hahaha I wish the wine glasses had stood out a bit more, but I just couldn't get the light right on them. I also wish I had had a red and white cloth instead of the blue.

The estancia, owned by the same family for over 100 years, is set in a 2,470 acre ranch that produces 12,000 liters of milk daily. It is used by the Uruguayan government when entertaining guests, offering them an authentic glimpse of Uruguayan life. Part of the fun is travelling to the river by choice of a hay truck, an old model T or a horse drawn carriage. A traditional barbeque (asado) is served accompanied by national wines.
The resort's restaurant and bar are directly next to Ponente Bay, with views to the islands of Lipari and Salina.
In the early evening, in a parking lot on a corner by the side of a busy street of Kuala Lumpur, hawkers were busy setting up food stalls for the night business. Carts and chairs were arranged on every available places trapping cars left behind by drivers that were not aware of or were slow to remove them. Tables and stools were arranged in the center framed by hawkers stalls selling all kinds of mainly noodles dishes in various styles of preparations, “dried” style with black sauce, different “soup” styles – beef, beef tendon, chicken, chicken spare parts, pork, pork spare parts with light soup, curry or a whole varieties of different stocks and flavors. They may be a rice stall such as chicken or duck rice, or a “roti chanai” (Indian flat bread) stall among them as well as various other types of food and desserts. It will not be surprising to find a stall selling a local fried burger or Western food such as Maryland chicken and chips. It was a food heaven.

First Saturday since relaxation of Covid-19 lockdown restrictions. Seating set up outside many cafes, restaurants & bars where permitted & space allows.
Restaurants in La Verne and elsewhere throughout Southern California have received permission to close streets for dining now that a spike in Covid-19 infections has led to the ban of indoor dining once again. But the noontime temperature of 102 degrees kept the lunch crowd away.

I found this charming outdoor seating area while exploring the Best Western The Red Lion Hotel in Salisbury. The tables and chairs are nestled beneath a canopy of trees, creating a cool and inviting space to relax and enjoy a drink or a meal. I love the way the string lights add a touch of ambiance, making it perfect for an evening gathering.
The tables weren't crowded, I wonder why?
The Plaza Mayor was built from sandstone in 1729 using the traditional Spanish baroque style but it also housed the local bullfight.
Grilled shirmp marinated in mango-habanero sauce, sprinkled with bresh basil and a simple salad on the side. What chilled white wine from the collection shall I pair this one with...?

Our dining destination on St. Pete Pier. We were thrilled when we learned that Doc Ford’s was coming to town, having enjoyed many a good night out at the original Sanibel Island location. Doc Ford is the fictional creation of Randy Wayne White, and is a retired NSA agent and marine biologist living in South Florida. Despite being retired, Doc Ford has had a busy case-load, the subject of 25 novels to date. Randy Wayne White actually owns the Doc Ford dining franchise too.

Located thirty miles from Nimes and Montpellier, this small picturesque town is known for its medieval center along the River Vidourle, whose narrow streets are spanned with multiple arcades and porches, its castle, today a ruin and its famous Roman bridge, the majority of which is now covered by the city.

Ever try black spaghetti? I cooked my first batch last night. It looked so unreal I had to photograph it!
The beer is an unfiltered IPA from a local brewery. Unfortunately, I forgot the name. Refreshing on a hot afternoon.

Steak sandwich - beef, carmelized onions, roasted peppers and cheese sauce on somun (a Balkan flatbread that is more normally served with Ćevapi or ćevapčići). Cepvapi or cevapcici is a grilled dish of minced meat shaped in small logs and is found traditionally in the countries of southeast Europe (the Balkans). They are usually served in groups of five to ten pieces on a plate or in a flatbread (lepinja or somun), often with chopped onions, kajmak, ajvar (optional), and salt. The sanwiches were huge.
