"Fear of the South" has long been one of my favorites of the group Tin Hat, and I always assumed it was referring to the South of the U.S. But now I don't know because there are at least two other recordings of this song, one by Mishkalé, which is an Italian group that plays klezmer and gypsy music, and one by Gypsy Trip, a group in Wisconsin. But to further complicate things, Gypsy Trip lists Tin Hat as one of the groups whose music they play…. Anyway, all three do the piece nicely.

Haven't done an HDR shot in quite a while. Saturday night at the Well at Jordan's Farm meeting friends (old and new) for dinner, I did my favorite put the camera on the table and see what I get for an HDR shot. Right after I did this, a party of ten claimed the table. I tried from my lower table, but they weren't cooperating-they moved around too much! Must be the wine. (That was our wine by the way)

We booked earlier and had an excellent meal by the waterside. The only trouble was the menu was good value but insisted on three courses. But it was a tasty end to a lovely week's stay.

On a dank and gloomy day in Lewisham, its good to see that The Sausage Man still has a couple of customers.
