The High brown fritillary was the main quarry for a recent trip to Devon. This one was one of many on Aish Tor on Dartmoor. They were an absolute nightmare to identify as they just would not sit still in the the blazing sun. I got lucky with this one that perched for about 10 secs before disappearing.
