Beautiful and welcoming Aish HaTorah Center for Jewish Learning is located in the Jewish Quarter overlooking the Kotel.
I took photos of the art in the lobby: the glass sculpture that hangs in the center of the ceiling and the traditional Jewish mosaic, similar to the style found in the ruins of temples of various Judean Kings.

Silvia Romano va arrestata», lo ha detto Vittorio Sgarbi in un post su Facebook, pubblicato nel giorno della liberazione della giovane cooperante italiana dopo diciotto mesi di prigionia. Il motivo secondo il critico d'arte e deputato della Repubblica sarebbe la conversione all'Islam avvenuta nel periodo vissuto sotto sequestro.
«Se mafia e terrorismo sono analoghi - ha scritto Vittorio Sgarbi - e rappresentano la guerra allo Stato, e se Silvia Romano è radicalmente convertita all’Islam, va arrestata (in Italia è comunque agli arresti domiciliari) per concorso esterno in associazione terroristica. O si pente o è complice dei terroristi».
Oltre alla gravità delle affermazioni rilasciate nel giorno della fine di un incubo per una giovane italiana, accompagnate da tantissime polemiche social (alcune offensive nei modi e nei termini) legate al prezzo riscatto, Sgarbi sembra dimenticare l'articolo 19 della Costituzione italiana che recita così: «Tutti hanno diritto di professare liberamente la propria fede religiosa in qualsiasi forma, individuale o associata, di farne propaganda e di esercitarne in privato o in pubblico il culto, purché non si tratti di riti contrari al buon costume».
Se mafia e terrorismo sono analoghi, e rappresentano la guerra allo Stato, e se Silvia Romano è radicalmente convertita all’Islam, va arrestata (in Italia è comunque agli arresti domiciliari) per concorso esterno in associazione terroristica.
