I have a lot of grey. I mean A LOT. And my Cathedral did not scrap as much of my bulk light grey 2x4 bricks as I thought it would.
So I've been thinking of some stone bridge designs to go with my trestle bridge, so I can recreate Eastwood Ravine without having to borrow Matt's steal bridge.
This is an idea I came up with utilizing parts I have on hand. A thought I've had is to stop it short, rather than continue the stone bridge the entire way, and span the gap with a black overhead steel trestle bridge. (Though that would require ordering parts, I don't own a lot of technic).
At Custom Trolleys we don't like the idea of having our customers pay more than they should for features that add cost but not value. Whether our design or yours, if we think that certain features add no real benefits only extra costs, we make sure to let you know and offer our advice. Sometimes people have a plan and insist we stick to it - which was the case with this trolley. Designed only to carry lightweight aluminium extrusions, this trolley featured:
18mm strutural ply
200mm polyurethan on cast iron castors (2000kg combined capacity)
Two floor locks at one end
Forklift slippers
3mm wall steel tubing
6mm fillet welds
6mm nylon strips, bevelled on all top edges, glued to the frame and countersunk screwed x 3 per piece.
Intended to hold aluminium and designed to hold a truck, this unit could have been much less expensive with a few changes. At any rate, the result was a beautiful piece of equipment that will likely outlast my children's children.

I've been on this hunt lately for old signs. I truly love this one. I see it on my way to work most days. And, I love the whimsical martini glass and the coffee cup below it. Not sure if that is a suggestion for before and after, or this place is just really diverse in their offerings??? Anyway, another view of this cool sign.
