Emory has been very afraid of the subway since he was a little dude. He actually shook with fear if we got near the entrance. I'm happy to say that's all in our past now. Thank goodness! Now he throws a fit if we won't take him.

of the surfing waves in Djupalon (Djúpalón) on Snæfellsnes

take notice of the lady standing there watching the surfing and very scary waves - I would myself never have gone that close! The power of the sea can catch you in seconds and take you out, and then you have little chance of getting back on shore.

I am afraid the walls may come tumbling down.

Frequently as I straighten my images I will use the lines of bricks as a reference aid. When lining up this image I noticed what poor condition the bricks were in. Then I noticed the satellite dish and electric meter and wondered how they were staying on the wall.
