Sacred and Profane project
Mixed Media (Pages from a novel, latex, acrylic paint)
Size: 38cm by 15cm
Description: I selectively tore pages out of an old romantic novel and highlighted with latex the text I wanted to be a focus within my composition, such as- 'embrace', 'sensually', 'husband' and 'admiration'. This piece was to portray the love, admiration, affection, lust and desire within marriage, the left painting is to symbolize the initial attraction (glamorous, glossy pouted lips) and the right to portray the seduction and affection.
Never chase love, affection, or attention. If it isn't given freely by another person, it isn't worth having.
She really didn't want to slow down for petting just then,but after she got into it she was purring. She's so velvety soft,and loves to give face hugs. A few have had unkind comments about Zoey. Maybe they just never met a Sphynx. They are wonderful !

"Affection"
This is Miss Sam (my great niece) who is such a little ham and the camera absolutely loves her. I was in Miami this last weekend and dropped in to visit my niece (and her little family) and as planned we did a little Valentine's Day shoot. Here we said to her...."Sam hug the pony" ......Priceless!!!
