On the each advent day will be some christmas activity, which dolls will be they do. Every day in christmas scene will be one snowflakes.

For Advent this year we had an all-church craft day where kids (and some adults) decorated these little lanterns to help celebrate the season of Advent, and to distinguish Advent more as its own season, and not just pre-Christmas. It's to symbolize light in the darkness.
The tree was just something to hang them on. There's no theological or historical reason.

The commercial world insists that there is a "countdown" toward Christmas. My faith gently reveals that the opposite is true. It's really a count up. Christmas is not a deadline, but a beginning.
My Advent calendar for you: the third door :)

"Customarily the Advent Wreath is constructed of a circle of evergreen branches into which are inserted four candles. According to tradition, three of the candles are violet and the fourth is rose. However, four violet or white candles may also be used” (Book of Blessings 1510).
The rose candle is lit the third Sunday of Advent, for this color anticipates and symbolizes the Christmas joy announced in the first word of the Entrance Antiphon: "Rejoice" (Latin, Gaudete). For this reason the Third Sunday is also called Gaudete Sunday, and rose color vestments are permitted.
The Advent Wreath represents the long time when people lived in spiritual darkness, waiting for the coming of the Messiah, the Light of the world. Each year in Advent people wait once again in darkness for the coming of the Lord, His historical coming in the mystery of Bethlehem, His final coming at the end of time, and His special coming in every moment of grace."

[EDIT 12/23] I realized today that I had accidentally started building models off by one day, starting at Day 14. I accidentally built model #15 on the 14th, and so on. The Christmas Build-Up model I posted on this day was actually supposed to have been built the following day, so just bear with me and pretend that it (and the MOC made from leftover parts) were posted a day later... To make up for it, I'm building the Day 14 model on the 23rd and posting a correction on each of the days from 14-22. Sorry about the mistake!

Size 19 x 22 cm filled every year with small gifts.
I decided to draw an advent calendar for my son. I haven't filled in behind the windows yet but they'll get there. I am quite pleased with it, it's very Christmassy. Santa is on a fire truck; we met Santa the other day in Santa Rosa and he arrived on a fire truck, a ladder truck to be specific. Ho Ho Ho!
My church decided to do our own version of Advent Conspiracy and so I made this video for it. (It's sped up to 110% to get it under 90 secs.)

Christmas parade on Mönckebergstraße (the main shopping street of Hamburg) Three times at every Advent saturday ther is a small Christmas parade from Central station to the townhall.
