And what goes with a hotdog?
I know... beer... but since I stopped drinking beer during weekdays, it's a Coke for me.

This was a piece I did back in 2019 based off of Matt Carlson's impressive, "Lookout" artwork featured on Dribbble.com here: dribbble.com/shots/2571898-Lookout
This was my first real attempt at using scatter brushes in Adobe Illustrator. There were a few details I went back and fixed, so this is a slightly updated version.

Cartoon illustration of a cute/sexy cartoon pinup devil girl in a bikini with an 8 ball on the rear end. Complete with hot rod flames in the background.
Commemorative concert poster done for the band. Entirely Illustrator.
I was stuck on this poster for a while because I'm not a fan of the Kings of Leon and quite frankly, I tried hard to be, if only for the duration of this assignment.
I am pretty happy with how this turned out though. I used to think people with animal heads tacked on were kitsch in a bad way, but I think I pulled it off with enough style.
Unfortunately, I won't be able to attend tonight's performance due to class. Busy all day until 9:30 tonight...

It's time for some more of The Shop's unusual vector assets : the geometrical psychology diagrams. These were originally created as an attempt to "mathematically model human consciousness through geometric forms" in the late 1880s.
There are two main groups of assets: the first one, with mainly two dimensional diagrams, and second one, of more than two dimensions, that resemble flowers and crystals. I also added some random nuggets from the rest of the collection. The diagrams have that beautiful execution of late Victorian era scientific illustration, while also presenting an undeniable organic touch. The "three dimensional" group of assets also feature shading, and color highlights.
There are forty-five (45) assets altogether, carefully digitized, organized, and share in a variety of formats, with care. I would recommend using them as background elements, color scheme inspirations, or of course as the centerpiece of the project you're working on.

- Forty-five (45) diagrams
- Available in multiple vector and raster formats for wider compatibility range: Adobe Illustrator (CC, CS6, CS3), PDF, EPS, and PNG
- 641.60 MB archive size

Like the textures you're seeing in the previews? They come from my Photocopy noise textures vol. 02. You must go check them out: https://crmrkt.com/13paPz

Curious about the beautiful, aged serif typeface I used for the previews? It's Appareo, created by Kimmy Design. You can find it on Creative Market, and you ought to check it out as well: https://crmrkt.com/7QWK1X

This is a reproduction I did in Adobe Illustrator; lots of use of the pen tool!

Still thinking of a logo for the front of the bass drum - maybe an 8?

The original is the best, but here's my attempt at recreating this famous Schwarzwaldbahn travel poster in Adobe Illustrator.
I changed some of the trees around using my own templates, but it still bears a close resemblance to the original poster.
Logo created in Adobe Illustrator. Please everyone, forgive me for the cigarette and the giant martini and the snake . . . it's been a hell of a day! (It ain't Shakespeare, but it's still in honor of the Bard of Avon.)
Cleopatra's Last Cocktail Party
“Name your poison,” said the host.
“You look as if you'd seen a ghost.”
Drink up--it can't be all that bad;
I hate to see you look so sad.”
She looked at him through kohl-rimmed eye,
“Martini,” she said.
“Extra dry.
“I've missed the Mark,
I've lost my lands,
Sweet Egypt's slipping through my hands.
So now they'll march me off to Rome,
And never let me come back home.
They will parade me though the streets
With all the shame that conquerors mete
To a proud queen whom the years
Have rendered dry though reign of tears.
"Ah well,
What's past is past,
And done is done.
I've lived a lifetime in the sun;
My course was swift
And swiftly run.
Tomorrow comes without our care;
Regrets are neither here nor there.
"But now I think I'll have a smoke;
Longevity is just a joke--
Could you give me a light?
And by the way,
I'd have to say
To hell with this stupid diet!
So what if I should gain a pound--
Who knows how long I'll be around?
I may indulge in something sweet;
What does it matter what I eat?
So please don't think that I'm a pig,
I'm simply dying for a fig.”

Hi everyone! This is an older photo that I stumbled across this morning and decided to play around with it a little bit. Everyone seems to be "kicking it up a notch" - I feel left behind - I still have no confidence with layers and textures. So many of you do it so beautifully and effectively that it often leaves my mouth agape! I am so inspired by you all - thanks for your generosity with your support & comments and endless inspiration!
Best wishes to you all! elisabeth
