I say WHO NEEDS EXPLORE? Anyone looking for beautiful images should check out my Contacts Page. I am blessed to have 700 tremendously talented contacts who make an effort to better their craft on a daily basis. Each day I see folks step outside their comfort zone and create works of art. I'm still in lots of pain and stuck on the sofa, not able to move. My parents are here today so atleast I have tea :D I am propped up on a million pillows with my hot water bottle on my neck, it's not doing much though. Codine is helping a bit, mostly just making my brain fuzzy though!
I won't be able to do a HNT shot today, getting clothes on and off is far too difficult!

Welcome to the fourteenth year of Arachtober! Celebrate arachnids with us by sharing your photos of spiders, scorpions, and other arachnids throughout the month.
jciv and I started Arachtober in 2007, and urtica gifted us with the name. You can read Arachtober’s origin story in this LiveScience article. This year is starting out with 10,557 photos in the pool and 269 members. We're so glad to see all the growing arachnid enthusiasm!
This is a very friendly and interactive group. Comments and favorites aren’t required, but interaction makes it more fun. Please do check out other member’s Arachtober posts – there is always something interesting to see.
We have only a few easy rules: these photos must be FRESH! Stale spiders with old comments aren’t exciting. We want these to be special, just for Arachtober. When you took the photo is not important, but it should be new to flickr. To start the month, we limit members to one post per day. The limit gets raised a few times throughout the month and reaches five by the end. Even if you have only one photo, you are welcome to participate! If you have a few, you can post them till you run out, or spread them out, or save them for Halloween week; spiders are especially popular on Flickr around then.
This big-eyed beastie is a Net-casting Spider, a.k.a. Ogre-faced Spider. These are fascinating spiders that hang head down and create a small net-web which they use to ensnare prey that passes below them. I have, sadly, never seen one in person, but when considering the goings-on this year, the resemblance of the net to a mask came immediately to mind. Illustration by me, and gratitude for motivational sketches goes to jciv and Qingru.

Art for iPhone” is a collection of applications, each one dedicated to a different contemporary artist. Purchasing one of these applications the user will download a package of 11 images optimized to be used as iPhone backgrounds. Flick through the images, pick your favorite, press contemporary the “home button” and the “sleep button” and your image is ready in your photo album ready to be set as your new background.

This is one of my first pieces created on Illustrator and drawn with an inexpensive and truly horrible pen tablet (which shall remain nameless). The poem is simple and one of the few I've written for children, and It deals with my favorite time of year (and my favorite subject for my seasonal poetry). Halloween is the only holiday I really enjoy, and I love the colors, sounds, smells, and textures of fall. Fall is so sweetly melancholy, reminding us gently of both the ephemeral nature of life and the equally ephemeral life in nature

Valid questions & concerns for sure . But at the same time aren’t we & all artists using tech in everything every day? Whether the AI in our Apple iPhone cameras, Adobe Photoshop to tweak a photo, Topaz Labs to improve quality, Adobe Illustrator tools to draw perfect curves, and Rebelle etc.?
Where does an artist draw the line? Pun intended. What do you think?
