It's time for some more of The Shop's unusual vector assets : the geometrical psychology diagrams. These were originally created as an attempt to "mathematically model human consciousness through geometric forms" in the late 1880s.

There are two main groups of assets: the first one, with mainly two dimensional diagrams, and second one, of more than two dimensions, that resemble flowers and crystals. I also added some random nuggets from the rest of the collection. The diagrams have that beautiful execution of late Victorian era scientific illustration, while also presenting an undeniable organic touch. The "three dimensional" group of assets also feature shading, and color highlights.

There are forty-five (45) assets altogether, carefully digitized, organized, and share in a variety of formats, with care. I would recommend using them as background elements, color scheme inspirations, or of course as the centerpiece of the project you're working on.

- Forty-five (45) diagrams

- Available in multiple vector and raster formats for wider compatibility range: Adobe Illustrator (CC, CS6, CS3), PDF, EPS, and PNG

- 641.60 MB archive size

Like the textures you're seeing in the previews? They come from my Photocopy noise textures vol. 02. You must go check them out: https://crmrkt.com/13paPz

Curious about the beautiful, aged serif typeface I used for the previews? It's Appareo, created by Kimmy Design. You can find it on Creative Market, and you ought to check it out as well: https://crmrkt.com/7QWK1X

Do something creative | Part 41 | Winnie-The-Pooh

Edit: This poster was featured on Minimal Movie Posters : minimalmovieposters.tumblr.com/post/12606353630/winnie-th...

I made this poster today as a challenge / suggestion from a friend. I had a great time watching clips from Winnie-The-Pooh on YouTube getting ideas.

This is the part of the story where he decides to disguise himself as a "little black rain cloud" by rolling in mud to steal honey from the bees in the tree. He figures that there is no reason a rain cloud would want honey, so the bees won't be suspicious.

New version of a previous illustration. Made her into a crow-like angel. I like it better. This illustration is now on display at Gawker Media Artists.

I had the opportunity to create a whisky label using my own photographs.

Okay... this is how it goes down:

I want some new stickers printed and I wanted them bright and simple.

I made 1 design with 6 different colourschemes.

And here is where you come in: you get to vote for your favorite design.

How?

Just favorite your favorite design.

The design with most favorites gets printed.

But there's more: 3 people who favorite the most favorited design get chosen and will be send a nice stickerpack asap.

Be careful: you can not fave more than 2 designs. If you do, thank you, but you will not content for the prizes.

This contest will run on Tuesday 15th of January 2008.

This week's Illustration Friday theme is "dance", which gave me a good excuse to get this little idea that's been floating around in my head for a few weeks.

Drawn freehand in adobe illustrator this morning. This one took about two hours, too much of that time fussing over the placement of the cats and music notes.

Dedicado a todos ellos que se rinden ante la tentación de sentirse miserables...

Fun, retro-ish cartoon alien monster/creature with one giant eyeball.

There is always hope...

Ilustración inspirada en una de las obras de Banksy.

El tipo maneja la síntesis del mensaje de una manera admirable.

Recomiendo la galería "Outdoors" donde toma elementos callejeros para explayar su arte.

Una genialidad.

Just couldn't resist!!! I'm not anti-video per se, but I am afraid allowing videos on Flickr is slowing everything down and may degrade service and change the nature of the community. I think that Yahoo may not have the bandwidth and server storage capacity to handle lots of videos.

Hey, wait a minute--is this the right Nancy???

My first Collaboration :D

I was well pleased when the supremely talented Mr. Chompins

Suggested a collab.

We came up with this absurd slice of surrealism.

I love hats, pipes, monocles and moustaches!

A birthday pig, in this case: it's my 30th birthday.

An 11x17 minimalist Star Trek Poster created entirely in Microsoft Powerpoint. I made this back in 2017 and found it going through some of my old files.

This is the icon for the World Scenic Photo group. It was created using a Wacom tablet and Adobe Illustrator. The final icon will be a thumbnail version of the artwork, 100 pixels square, and the small finished size meant the design needed to be quite simple.

Working from a rough pencil sketch, this image was created in Adobe Illustrator and completed in Photoshop.

At night this time.
